I got your tournament ABK.
Also I randomly stumbled upon a Super Street Fighter 4 tournament in San Antonio at a comic book convention called Texas Comicon, I do not know much information about this nor have I seen this advertised but this is what I got from the webpage I posted.
-It’s in a comic book convention on June 18-20
-$1000 grand prize (this is what is advertised and they did not post anything about payouts)
-You must purchase a 3-day pass in order to enter the tournament. The pass costs $35
-The tournament is free to enter with purchase of the pass.
-Fri/Sat are prelims and Sun is the finals (i do not know how they are running this)
That is all I got. I honestly don’t know what to make of this since I don’t really have much information to go on other then the basics. If anybody in San Antonio knows anything about please shed some light. So far it’s play at your own risk.

July 21st is the deadline for online registration. You can still register on the day of the tournament, but it will cost an additional 5 dollars per player (does not apply to Guitar Hero).
Tentatively want to hold a tournament at midnight comics on july the 17th in houston tx. I’ll post up more info as it becomes available.

Texas BAR FIGHTS Tournament
8 Screens: The same ones used at EVO to ensure NO LAG and that the tournament moves along quickly. Each screen has their own set of separate speakers so everyone can hear everything. HUGE venue with plenty of room and lots of good food and beer!
Top 8 played on a Head 2 Head set up and projected onto a big screen!

Please, please, PLEASE eat and drink lots of alcohol at the venue. Back Porch Grill and Tavern has a great menu full of really good food and lots of beers/shots to choose from.
