FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Why on <day>? Why not on <different day>?
Weekends tend to work best for these two titles as they will likely pull the largest number of entries and most people work during weekdays. If you work weekends, you know the schedule in advance, so please do what you can to get the day off!
Why are you guys running dates before/after NCR/EVO2K11?
Why not? It’s good to get some practice in before and after majors, so lick the salt off those wounds and run it back!
Besides, if we wait until the end of NCR/Evo, the Summer will basically be over, and that wouldn’t be any fun!
I thought you guys were doing a fat payout at the end. What happened?
We decided after some discussion that it would perhaps be better to do payouts at the conclusion of each session, rather than the entire season. This would ensure that every single competitor would have a shot at getting their fight money, regardless of overall point standings!
Are you going to run Ranbats for other games? KOF13/3S/CVS2/Primal Rage/Jackie Chan?
We are, in fact! Please stay tuned for more information on Ranking Battles for these titles!
Are you going to run regular tournaments? I don’t like Ranbats and/or I can’t show up to every round.
We are! Please stay tuned for more information on standard tournaments!
Your dates/rules/payout methods suck and I hate you! Please die.
We’re always open to making changes and we welcome all suggestions/feedbacks! Please do not hesitate to let us know what you think! This is out first attempt at running Ranbats/Tournaments, but we are doing what we can to ensure the best experience for our Guests!
See you soon, and good luck!
