This has to be one of the biggest and best tournaments I’ve ever been to. Charlotte is still holdin it down for NC tourney scene.

The highlight for me was my match with Arvelle. All the comentary during the match made it more fun. You’ll get me next time Arvelle.
There was only one sore spot for me at this tourney (that ended up being nothing). When I got called out by Marneto (a guy who’d I’d never seen or heard of before). It was kinda disrespectiful but cool. We played and had a good time and that shit blew over. Good job getting 4th in CvS2 by the way. Just remember that I’m not a shit talker (although i did talk a little after I won).
Now I know I’ve got a lot of work to do to make myself really good in CvS2. I only had Geese and Kyo working today. Sagat was a failure (as usual). I’ll be ready next time to do better.
Congrats also goes to my boy MegaGief for getting 5th as well. I’ll be coming to Fayetteville sometimes to get my practice on since no one plays up here in G’boro and we don’t have a cabby anywhere.

all I can say it was a great tourney. The turn out was better than I expected. I proud of everyone from the ville and G boro holding it down.
It was also nice getting to meet the houston people really nice group. It was nice seeing the empire back in action again.
cvs 2 i had some great matches but was a little disapointed i get wong 2nd round off the winners then i sick around in the losers until about 12midnight just to lose to a houston guy but its cool i guess. Everyone agreed that the 1st player stick was starting to fuck up really bad as the tourney went to the later rounds. (i was the filipino in the white shirt and white durag)
3rd strike had some funky delay in the controls so i scrubed out =p. and its messed up that jive playing unrien gets his charge buffer back against me once the tourney is over and i always see most of his combos =p in the ville
hopefully i might be able to go to texas in march so i can play the houston peeps again and get my rematch =p

Great GGXX tourny guys! I was really impressed by everyone there.
Some administrative stuff first, I didn’t really throw my SRK name around a lot that day, but this is Michael Y. from Atlanta, GA. I played a decent, but flawed and “too much Reload” Ky.
About the match footage, Charles “pimpjuice69” Hinton is working on that, but it’s going to take some time to sort through the footage and everything. At the moment, we think it could take as long as a month to do it all. I know that’s kinda long, and not what everyone wants to hear, we’ll see what we can do about getting the finals up first or something.
This was my first tournament, so I’d just like to give shoutouts to everyone there, it was really cool, everyone was really nice, and I appreciate everyone showing a new player like me the ropes.
