Never went up against the Urien Aegis Shield before so I dont know if I should be blocking up or down :lol: I just mixed up my c.mk set ups and hoped for the best.
Towards end of first round of set 1 I sort of freaked out cause I was winning than bam I died. After that he went McOwnage on me.
Well… it may be a bit early for this, but when is everybody thinking about in terms of the next one? Was 3 months too big of a gap last time? Not enough? Just right?

Ok I just made it back to FL safe and sound.
This tourney was a blast. Thanx go to the crew at Mindboggle for hosting a kick ass tourny. That was the farthest I’ve ever been for a tourney and was well worth it.
Its nice to finally put some faces with names on SRK. I wish I could of gotten to know everyone there, but there was too many people for that.
For the peeps I did speak to, sorry I didn’t have more time to get to know you guys better. You all seem like really cool dudes. Rod West aka Buck Jones, Lord Doom, and Taz, I’m sorry we didn’t get any exibition matches in, I would have loved to swap ideas and strategies with you guys and show you some of those combos I was telling you about.
Good job to the rest of Fl peeps for representing in MVC2. Sorry I failed you guys, I just real nervous, and lock up in tourneys and I don’t think straight. I also wasn’t used to those stiff joysticks, and had a hard time super jumping and wave dashing with Hulk.

Wow, that’s disillusioning. Although, I think that daigo and ksk (and arturo) give hope for originality and 2nd tier. Also, I’d rather see a yun copy than a ken copy, but that’s just me. Maybe, one day, people will be more interested in representing their characters than taking home the pot.

i vowed to stick with my urien till the end. i had to face my own brother in the tourney and since im the oldest i just had to teach him a lesson.
my public announcment is toward the stick. i lost b/c of a fucked up stick. do u have to hold that shit down hard or wat the fuck man. like no offense to who i lost but man it was so predictable u were going low and i blocked low with my joy it just didnt register. good match do. i would of been pissed but losing like that sucked.
i dont know wat it was but i hoped it is figured out.

had mad fun at the tourny, had good practice with the houston guys fri night and hope the drive back went well. mad props to my boy lu for holding it down that first match. wayne for repping southtown to the fullest. eric for taking me out and finishing strong. james d for getting 5th NC baby, Mr. Rod McNasty for repping that nasty brand Marvel. JTJ for holding down some 3rd, kevin with the nasty yuri and all NC the improvement is very very noticable.
everyone there was really cool…except i do remember one guy who was very timid and talked a lot of crap and when the time came he wound up with not only a foot in the mouth but also one up his ass…twice lol.

My first SRK tourney, even though I didn’t play a 2D game (why didn’t ANYONE else sign up for Tekken?) and it was pretty tight, never thought Rogue could be that good. Crazy stuff, going through Sentinel’s Super with her own? wtf.
Anyways, it was cool meeting Jinmaster, maybe we’ll get to play sometime, and I think I’m going to start playing Gear now as well. Hope to see you guys soon, and, just to let you know, me and Taz ran around until 5 a.m. trying to find Jose’s house again
