I’ve been trying to figure this out, but can’t seem to find any info on it. Some online videos seem to have a different sound effects package. For example:

On video 1 Guile says “Summer salt” during his flash kick, on video 2 he says “flash kick”, also when he says ‘Sonic Boom’ it sound different, and the hits sound slightly different too. I have SF4AE on xbox, and have looked around for settings and dlc, but can’t seem to find anything, mine sounds like video 2. They both appear to be Xbox, SF4AE, does anybody know what the difference is?
Thanks!
“somersault”, not “summer salt”. The difference is probably between English and Japanese voice acting (can be changed by character on console)
First video is japanese voicing. Second video is english voicing. Go into options for sound effects and you should find a list showing you which voices you’d prefer. You’re also able to change it on a character-basis.
Nice, thanks! I’ll have to try this when I get home. That’s really confusing that the Japanese voicing he still says “Sonic Boom”, and it changes the hitting sound effects. I always assumed changing version to Japanese only meant changing the cut screen parts where there’s actual character dialog.
