This is one of the better character breakdowns I came across. Signia is a pretty well known player in the calibur community so the info should be solid.
Some basics that I know just from fighting against hilde.
At range pester with 66k it’s got a massive hitbox, advances, mid, safe.
Try to get spear regalia as much as possible so you can threaten with high damage mixups
If they’re on the ground 66b+k basically says, you have to stand up now. Can’t roll it in any direction and it’s chunky damage for what it does.
66a+b/66[a+b] controls space pretty well and can lead to combos

HQ video is out. I like her redesigned face. A detail, she’s using her SCIII stance instead of her SCIV one. Probably to show she’s not as skilled yet.
Another interesting aspect of her new design, Setsuka has several black streaks on her hair. This pretty much confirmed that her original hair colour in SCIII is dyed as she tried to fit in with the Japanese by dying her hair black.

I didn’t catch the streaks of black in her hair. Good eye man. As someone that actually enjoys single player modes in fighting games, I’m curious to see how Setsuka’s soul chronicle plays out.
I didn’t catch the back streaks either lol someone else did. But it should put to rest the notion that her natural hair color was ever black. She also has “Tsushima” in her style name… are you gonna play her? lol
So the guy on the pic below seems to her master. She’s wearing his haori; probably took it after he found him dying.

Groh’s new chapter
So Grøh got a free new Soul Chronicle episode with update 2.20, which is something new that the game has never done before. Some interesting stuff to discuss:
Summary
The episode is given the flair "Grøh Side Story 1". Is this an implication that there will be more free additional episodes added to Soul Chronicle in succeeding updates?
The episode ties up nicely with Grøh's role in Libra of Souls, something that the Soul Chronicle originally lack other than some small tidbits here and there.
The episode revealed what happened to Maxi after his battle with Astaroth, which is the same as the original timeline in SCI. The implication is that Maxi will still have a shard of Soul Edge embedded to his body in this new continuity.
The episode seems to delve into Grøh's friendship with his old partner Curtis a lot, with Grøh even saying that there is a possibility Curtis is still alive due to his malfestation before his death. Is the game teasing Curtis' return as a new character in future entries in the series (or even in future DLCs in this entry), as a malfested with his own moveset and all?
