I would love to have everything unlocked, but you’ll piss off the casual fans if you do unlock everything since they have no interest in fighting against other people.
There’s no money in porting fighting games to the PC.
Solution to this:
Unlock all characters for online / versus mode, but keep Weapon Master mode in tact.
That’s my solution also. Doubt it will happen. I don’t see them making too many changes to the core game since Fall will be here before you know it.
Maybe if people mention it on Twitter perhaps. Who knows.

Maybe this is just me but when i played this game back in the day my favorite part was the extra weapons. I miss bodying fools with Cat Claws. Hope Cervy is still gdlk

I mini-Montaged The Soul Series from SB to SC3 with Taki(to kill time) and fuck dude I was instantly reminded why I hated the fuck out of SC3.
SC2 Taki is fun as hell though as True Exorcism Cancels was a thing back then.
Most of the Soul Series had good music…even Soul Blade, and people be sleeping on that SC1 track list…Indian Harbor…nuff said.
Soul Edge especially had good music.
At least SC3 had some of the best stages. I really wish Namco would stop giving me shitty stages and bring back some of the SC2/3 classics.
To be fair, SC3 had alot of SC1 stages remade such as, Providing grounds, Indian Port, Hoko Temple/Buddhist sanctum , Valentine Mansion, Silk Road Ruin, Ostreinsburg castle, ect.
But it did have Lost Cathedral(and the Ruin Variant) which was one of the best stages in the series imo, but then again all the boss stages were pretty memorable…well except Algol’s that shit was lame unless it was the Tower Battle…Thanatos was a good theme.
I didn’t like SC3 because of what they did to Voldo… That’s it though.
There’s a lot of exciting gameplay reasons to hate SC3 but this should be about how hype it is to raph 33A:SCC AAAHHHHH
I believe the word you’re looking for is “interquel”. And yeah, definitely agreed. Cassandra is mai waifu. I like Patroklos’ gameplay but his character is intolerable.
Non-Canon Soul Calibur…been saying this since SCV was out for a while now.
-Every character gets to play(even Bangoo)
-Chance of new or old mechanics(8way soul charge)
-Focused more on gameplay than narrative.
How about focus on both if they go that route. No reason to drop focus on one for the other.
Why If it isn’t canon? what would be the point? It would be like trying to give a plot to Tekken Tag Tournament or a KOF DreamMatch…come on now…no need for that. I’d rather have no story than a shitty one anyday.
Because you can have tons of fun with a non-cannon story
The Tag2 style story trolling doesn’t require much work, but alot of people may not like that Tekken style humor in SC…but to each their own. I like to see SC characters troll each other.

My personal preference to Hwang was that he was top tier.
Yun-Seong is Hwang with slower normals, slower grab, worse tick throw setups and only slightly better K chains.
But Hwang had 66KK soul charge cancel for some cool set ups so even then he didnt really lack in the K department.
They replaced my main with Yun Seong and honestly i still havent gotten over it completely.
