ok i was fooling around with morrigan/tron. i noticed comboing with tron was getting really good damage with soul eraser, so i wanted to see how much damage soul eraser did alone uncomboed. first i was getting shit like 70-74 damage. i was like WHOA!
then when i moved it went down to like 45. eventually i figured out by adjusting my position, the damge would shift from 45 to 50 to 55 to 70 to 44…
it doesnt seem to be a consistent distance factor tho. like point blank range i get low damage. full screen i get low damge. i get the most damage somewhere inbetween.
can anyone explain to me how this move works?
Not sure exactly how this works, but I know that…

the other character must be standing on the ground to do full damage. If say you DHC from someone else, and the character is flying back, and you DHC and catch them in midair, it will do shit damage.

Like you said, full damage is somewhere in between full screen and point blank range.

To get the Tron/Morrigan combo to work correctly, you need to either:
a. cancel to soul eraser RIGHT when one of the ring’s hits. This will do the “double hit” assist thingy (found by Kaisingrz)
b. Extend the combo so that you get the 3rd ring to combo in. Either method will yield you HIGH damage.
Hope this helps… ^^
that double assist hitting glitch is weird damn tron. As if I didn’t hater her enough. danm sent capcom as if that wasn’t bad enough.
Seems like it’s hard to get it working with Sent/Cap though- it might prove too unreliable to really count on for power combos
