SC3 was too RPGish. Characters selling me weapons? Lol.
You could control which ending you could get too. I wonder how are they going to solve this in SC4, as some endings totally changed characters entirely. They should bring back Weapon Master and ignore these crappy mini games (although I did like that RPG type game)
I personally think he had a more meaningful movelist in SC3 than SC2. He always ends up being mid/upper mid in the tiers. Looking forward to him in SC4.
I wouldn’t call those two redundant. I’m s Seig player, but I can’t really use Nightmare that well. They’re made to be different with Seig having so many different stances and Nightmare doing more damage, and, story-wise, they bring a lot as seperate characters. Cass and Sophie are what you’re looking to snipe at.
You’re the one who’s not too smart. Tekken Tag and Soul Calibur are two different series with different system mechanics. Go back to hoping for online play like everyone else in this damn thread.
Well I wasnt around for most of SC2 so I would say that SC3 Kilik is better. He has good pokes, can punish lows REAL well and has a 1/3~1/2 life combo. But hey thats just me. :I
He means that Siegfried and Nightmare now inhabit two separate bodies, unlike Kazuya, Jin or Ryu’s alternate versions, so having a “power up/down” animation would make as much sense as Siegfried powering-up into Astaroth.
Yeah, Namco. The hardcore gamers want boobies and ninjas
See in SC2 though, he had crazy things like 6AA:B+K 6AA SCC, WS KB, 4** fakeouts, 22AB~G, 3B launch on normal hit, 66K SCC, and some of the safest lows and safest attacks in general. He’s also really good in SC3, and i’d say improved, but the difference in tiers essentially leaves him in the same spot.
The difference was that in SC3 Nightmare became fragments and pieces of the Soul Edge to form a living armor of the late SC2 Nightmare, only this time around nobody inhabited Nightmare’s armor. (Siegfried had already crushed the SE)
They always have the story center around the SE, wonder what they’ll think of next.
Meh, teaser didn’t do much but at least confirm that it’s coming for both PS3 and 360, which is excellent, but didn’t imply an arcade version, which IS worrisome. Nice logo, too. Namco, please, don’t fuck this one up.
Hey, I’m 100% confident that can make a really excellent game even after SC3. I see Sc3 as being more of a result of poor timing, planning and marketing than poor development.
I hope this puts SC back on the map, I never played the first one, I tried the third and went running back to SC2. Out of all the 3D fighters I’ve played SC2 is my favorite, I guess I dont see what others see in tekken.
