I’m loving the footage of Aeon. Thanks to those who caught footage!
Aeon’s looking different, and that I really like. Though, some speculated that he might have some of Kratos’ moves from that PSP Soul Cal due to the fact that Aeon has wings. I never did play that game, so…can anybody else tell if that’s the case? Aeon appears to have some “flight enhanced” moves, if you will.
JURASSIC EDIT: So, I guess initial impressions from SCR reveal that Aeon has a lot of Kratos’ moves from that PSP Soul Cal. I’m not sure how Kratos was as a character, but I like how Aeon the Spartan got moves from a previous Spartan. Otherwise, a lot of Aeon’s staple moves appear to be in, and he has a new “flight stance” where he apparently has a quick unblockable? I’ve heard the flight stance compared to Devil Jin’s from Tekken. Well, we’ll have to wait and see whether or not it’s actually useful.

2P costumes look dope so far. Hilde’s looks classy as fuck, and I hope Mitsu does indeed get some decent samurai armor again.

The four exhibition matches were great. I was disappointed by the lack of Aeon, but the quality of the fights more than made up for it. Also seeing the 2P costumes in action was great, but I do agree that Astaroth’s 2P costume is stupid looking. I know that his 2P costumes have always looked bizarre…but this is far and away the most bizarre looking, I think.
Hopefully within the next few days we’ll get some stream archives or player footage from SCR so we can digest more of the new information.
