I honestly hope they get a replacement for Mina…Not becuase I dont like her(She’s my fave character)…but just so they can come up with some fresh ideas for her style …Seems like she gets lamer with each game…like they dont know exactly what to do with her…Not to mention rehashed/worse moves n such from kilik.

Still don’t know how I feel about the time skip in this game. On the one hand, I appreciate them trying to change up the story and everything, but on the other hand, why do it if you are just gonna make younger clones of the characters? If they want to add new characters, how about making them actually new and not clones? Also I feel like they need to add more realistic weapon styles, some of the newer characters are kinda lame. There are plenty of cool weapons they can introduce in this game instead of “I have this sword…and then I summon this thing!” or “i have a magic ball”. I admit though, Viola seems kinda interesting. Zwei seems lame though. Last interesting weapon style they added was Tira, also Zasalamel.
Has anyone heard anything about other modes in this game yet? I’ve always enjoyed their one player campaign modes. Also, I’m hoping the team battle mode from Soul Calibur comes back. The one where you could set team sizes from 1-8, that was the best. They need to bring that back.
Still waiting for a fist and kicking guy (not Heihachi, more like that one dude from Kung Fu Hustle) and a 3 section staff user to get into SC :[
That move looks cool as hell, for some reason I’ve always hated ivy, but I gotta admit that shorties got style. But now thats moves got me hoping we get a character with a bow as one of their main weapons(no ezio’s crossbow doesn’t count). I will continue to hope with each iteration of soul calibur that spawn, heihachi and links moves become available in character creation.
Damn, Kilik is my boy too. What exactly is this Brave Edge. Is it just basically a Street Fighter super in SC?
i think that Brave Edge is like an Ex Move (SF) or maybe a Force Break (GG)

We got Ezio instead. 
Ivy’s sword was forged with magic. Using it like a bow isnt far-fetched seeing as she also uses it as a whip, bladed hoop and mini projectiles.
Am I the only person that misses her Soul Calibur 2 stances?
And is there any other character in fighting game history that has their moveset completely changed in each sequel? This will literally be the 5th new moveset she has.
No. No you are not. SC2 Ivy is my favorite by far. She needs those stances back.
