I think i remember an interview where he said he wanted the guest to be from a japanese game so that excludes western characters i think.
They had characters from movies in SC4, so the guest slot is pretty open. I’m guessing they’ll go with characters from something that’s currently pretty big for SC5 to get more attention. So maybe Pirates of the Caribbean or something.

They seem to focus less on all the extra stuff for SC5 compared to 3 and 4 (like cutting down a bit on the character creation part), so they’ll probably not have as many guest characters as they had in 4.
I feel that adding alternate costumes (so they look like the old) or w/e to the new characters that replace the old would be better than having chars like Ashlotte & Co. It would probably please fans more.

I’m sure a 17 year timeskip would put her out of jailbait zone. Having the look of a jailbait character is a whole other story though, considering her potentially vampiric nature.
