Also, Pyrrha has insane step.
They redid the voice clip for “A tale of souls and swords eternally retold”. I am disappoint.
I’m disappointed with Pyrrah personality. She was kidnapped and empowered with Soul Edge. She should have a meaner streak to her. She’s how Sophie was in Soul Edge. I can do without cinematic soul charges
Pyrrah/Pyrrha wasn’t made a host to Soul Edge though, so I doubt she’d be violent after 17 years of not being in the sword’s influence. Sieg still acted the same when he was linked to Soulcalibur in IV.
By the way, I’m gonna go ahead and call it now: Sophie is Soul Edge’s host in this game. I already thought she was going to be back when they started in IV with the whole “going into darkness to protect her family” bit, and now with neither Pat nor Pyrrha looking like they’ll use it and Pat’s “goodbye, mother” line…yeah. How she (or anyone else) managed to get the pieces of SE from Sieg is beyond me though, since his story and ending other than the freezing everything is apparently canon (and a SC powered Sieg would’ve whupped Sophie’s ass, storywise).
EDIT: Oh yeah, and that’s totally Yuri Lowenthal doing Pat’s voice. Maybe he can do double duty and instead of effing Star Wars or some other shit we could at least we could get Tales characters (like Luke fon Fabre, in the case of using Lowenthal). They’re already halfway there with the new Soul Charge attacks looking totally like Artes in Tales, and Pat’s “I’ll show you true justice” quote that came straight from Lloyd Irving, though in his case it was “divine justice”.
Amen. Pyrrha being fully clothed is a welcome change, no more of that DOA nonsense. It’s one thing when Ivy dresses that way because it was iconic to the character, but when you have Talim with see thru pants, Sophie with a see thru dress, and bust sizes correlated to the fucking character’s height, it gets ridiculous. Hopefully it’s toned down like the older titles again.

Actually the see-thru pants Talim wears is something girls of her country really wear for special occasions. And Sophie was always an allegory to Greek goddesses/beauties - I’m surprised it too this long to get to that point. Sophie is also a milf, so she slides in the cup size department. SC4 has nothing on the DoA series.
I’ve never seen any girls wear pants like that here. Not in the present, and not in any history book either.

Seriously it’s a silk that’s a popular export from the Philippines. Ironically more common as men’s shirts. It can otherwise be fashioned into whatever, like any other fabric.
