Come on guys this SRK thread has been dead lately TYM has more activity. Anyone come up with new things?

yeah, the threads over there are finally picking up. it seems like no one here is interested.

I would say tech but that tech is already posted on TYM so… yeah

well, to bring you guys up to speed:
end corner combos with 112 silly slide to cross them over and go into things like b22, f2, neutral jump 2, etc. if there’s an interaction that she can plant a bomb on, end the corner combo with 112 silly slide bomb plant, and you’ll be able to combo off of it.

haa yeah. we had like 20 matches and he didn’t tell me he was recording until after we were done. they were really laggy. as you could probably tell with the lack of combos and dropped inputs, the match you see in the video was super laggy for me, though i see it was fine on his end.
even if it wasn’t laggy, i wouldn’t have been able to block those silly slide setups because i’ve never seen them before, and now that i use harley, i see other people have trouble blocking them too haha.

Yeah playing as Harley is very fun and leads to the opposition not being able to block. I’m taking a break for awhile because I had to face a bunch of Sinestro players on ranked in a row for some reason. Either was it was not fun at all. Any tips on Sinestro match up besides the video?

raven and aquaman are two of my other mains, and i’d much rather use them against sinestro obviously because they can punish him full screen. raven has to be the worst matchup for sinestro, but fighting him in lag makes it harder.

you should get a free silly slide after blocking his meteor and shackles. his fireball is annoying because he can meter burn it late and then use the advantage to toss another one. using harley’s guns probably isn’t a good idea because, if they trade with shackles/fear blast, he wins that trade. when you’re close, always watch out for his stupid uppercut. it has a lot of range.

Buffs I want to see in Harley Quinn:

  1. Cancellable trait or pick what you want (longer cool down if this)
  2. Faster F2
  3. Armor able Silly Slide (people on TYM an overhead silly slide mb’ed)
  4. More damage to her pathetic guns (4% really?)
  5. Play doctor a mid attack
  6. Restore 2d3

That’s all I really notice right now that kind of hinders her but just a few of these would be fine

Something really dirty in the corner is that you can silly slide into two options:

  1. After TS1 do J2 then 112 slide ( I don’t even know what direction to block)
  2. Do the same but after J2 do f13 then 112 this puts you on other side

On another note I think that the first option ends up on the other side but the game corrects it into go back to the other side so if you do a low… You or your opponent won’t even know what’s going on. There are so many options that its hard to pick what’s next.

Edit: You need to do a neutral J2 any then it will cross up for the first one

How to do the cross-up in the first one ( When you decide to do the J2 determines what it does)

Sorry for bad quality.
J2 like in video makes that weird thing that can lead into a cross up overhead back to the same side then a low/overhead
J2 has a chance of going on to the other side completely too
SS can if delayed, not cross-up and still confuses opponents.

Harley buffs coming The Bag-O-Tricks (Character Power) now recovers faster.

There is now slightly less damage scaling on attacks performed after Harley’s Mallet Bomb supermove. The Spinning Pistols (Down+2) attack now inflicts the correct damage amount and had it’s hitbox slightly improved.

Wow that’s Dirty. Does it work on the larger character too?

I’ve found that it works better on the more larger characters and it is kinda hard to land on the shorter or smaller characters. Other than that there is an easier way to get an opponent into the corner.

ji2, f1 SS TS1 b3 ji2 112

F1 as you may already know leads them into a ridiculously stunned state for quite some time. If you SS and TS fast you can leave them pretty close to the corner. The b3 is pretty much only necessary if you are like 3/4 away from the corner ji2 just gets you closer and 112 pushes them back so you can get the opposition to or near the corner fast

Just these to keep the tread going. Cupcake bombs reset because of hard knockdown give you the opportunity to f2 or b22

how is the cupcake one a reset? i know you can do a crossup jump after and people sometimes have trouble blocking it.

You can set it up for more stuff ya know? Like i usually go for an overhead because everyone blocks low.

Pretty much ji2 f2 b22 usually are the options you can choose

so i think f1 is now a mid attack? i played for the first time in almost a month yesterday and against an aquaman (albeit terrible) player, he wouldn’t block f13 at all, but the f1 hit him crouching which is a huge buff for her

her trait is now pretty good, completely usable, if only you could control where the bomb went would it be the bestest trait ever (not really but still)

i only lost like 3 matches with her yesterday out of the 20 or so, she just seems so much better

What do you mean by mid?

there are 6 types of attacks, low, mid, high, overhead, unblockable, and throw

unblockable and throw are pretty straight forward
lows have to be blocked low and overheads have to be blocked high
mid and high attacks can be blocked both high and low but high attacks whiff on crouch blocking

the f1 part of f13 is a high (or so i thought) so it would whiff on crouching opponents before the 3 came out making it pretty easy to interrupt, but last night against this random aquaman player, it actually hit him while crouching making the raw f13 attack much more viable, meaning they can’t interrupt (to my knowledge) between f1 and 3 giving her…ANOTHER TOOL AGAINST WAKE-UPS

hopefully this is true and i’m not stupid but f1 going from a high to a mid is an awesome buff for harley
