The thing I’m looking forward to the most is how the game engine is going to play out in competitive play. It seems like they have the right idea with it since there is alot more potential for combos then there are in Smash Bros and one on one doesn’t look like it’s going to be just jumping up and down trying to land a random smash move into a 3-4 hit combo like it is in competitive Melee. I’m also really looking forward to playing as my other favorite Sony character like Drake and Ratchet and Clank among others as well. I’m just really eager to see if they will add other modes of play in the game besides point matches, but I want to see firsthand how the gameplay engine stacks up compared to Smash Bros. I am already a big fan of the Smash Bros series and even though I don’t play it competitively, I still thoroughly enjoy it. And seeing as how some big name fighting game community players are working on the game to make it competitively viable and care about the community unlike Sakurai and Nintendo who don’t see Smash Bros in that light, I really have faith that this game will go places. And to see a game like PASBR to combine the best of both worlds really entices me to check it out. I’m positive the development team will know what they’re doing.

My decision to pre order playstation all stars battle royal : it’s really a other game than brawl.
You need to defeat a enemy to using a special move , in super smash bros you need to defeat a enemy to punch him out of the stage.
I’m gonna like this game, Superbot entertainment are hopefully listening to the people, which characters they will in-game.

It’s not a really copy of Super smash bros.
It’s on playstation , they using first party chars and third party chars to make the game powerfull, and enjoyable.

I cannot wait for this game!! I’m so excited to beat all of my favorite playstation characters with Jak (and Daxter). I love fighting games in general and I think this game has lots of potential. I also like the uniqueness of each stage and the items you can use in-game. Once I get the game I will get the platnium and unlock every character.

I have strong intentions on pushing the competitive viability of this game and establishing a community around this game.
I have to say, I was far from excited when Toro was first announced. Let’s just say SFxT soured him for me. After using him in the EVO build though, my mind was changed pretty damn fast. Same deal with Heihachi. That’s one of the big things that gave me faith in PSA – the team gets how to implement a character’s unique quirks and abilities while maintaining viability in competition.
I really want to see this game go far, both in competitive and casual scenes. Bug-sniffing and balance testing via beta are probably the best ways I can help out with that… aside from, y’know, buying the game and spreading the word. That, I’ve already got on lock. B|
I’m most looking forward to the complexity of the combo system and supers, the recent videos showing dodging and juggling show that there is a lot more to this game than meets the eye. In terms of what I love so far, it has to be the wide range of Playstation characters that have been revealed so far. Their moves and style are truly based on the source material.
It would be great to get a beta key so I can help make this game better when it launches in retail this fall!
Personally, I am looking forward to this game to have a lot of fun playing with friends as some cool and unique characters. So far what I am enjoying about this game is everything really. I have been saying for years that I want this game to be made and it is finally a reality. I am totally stoked to get a shot at playing this. I have been updating friends for months on this game. Since it was just a rumor I have been excited!
I am really excited on the fact there is no timer. You win based on a point system which sets itself apart from all of the other fighting games. Being able to combo in this kind of fighting game is truly a blessing in disguise and opens up thousands of possibilities in what you can do in combat. Bringing aboard one of the most respected fighting icons, Seth Killian, sets the bar up high for the game and I praise SCEA and SuperBot Entertainment for allowing him to give his expertise for the game. I’m looking forward to using all of the cast members, but Sly Cooper, Sack Boy, and Raiden I am really looking forward to seeing in action.

i Have been waiting for another mash up game since the smash bros days and now heres my chance to play one again this time with sony characters and i am excited to get my hand son the beta to play as kratos and sly and then when the real game comes out i will try the others the combo sysytem along wiht online shall make this game challenging fun so expect me to try all sorts of things raiden and heihachi will be a definite to try out as well overall this game is lokkin good to me right now and getting a beta shall me see to that more
I am really looking forward to the stages. How they create Sackboy ( I bet he’ll be really good though) and the diiferences between Evil and Good Cole McCgrath. All in all i’m looking for a game a lot like SSB and this is the right game to play!
I’m definitely looking forward to the additional characters that will be announced for this game. I’m hoping that less revered Sony franchises like Primal, Heavenly Sword, Rascal, Tomba!, and The Mark of Kri get some good representation in this game. wink,wink
From everything I’ve seen so far about the game though, I love the addition of 3rd Party Characters. I never knew how much I wanted to play with the Big Daddy from Bioshock…until I saw him in this game. So. Awesome.
I am looking forward to all the characters that are going to be anounced and hopefully there will be a new game mode with health bars that deplete from normal attacks. I like how they made a game that looks like smash bros but has combos that don’t consist with just A,A,A,B as we see in most games with the same style. I like how the background are from a combination of games where as smash bros, D.O.N., and jump ultimate stars have backgrounds from single worlds. Hopefully when this game does comes out it will have a fan has a fan base as large as smash bros
What am I looking forward to most? Getting my hands on the game. I played the hell out of some Super Smash Bros. ever since my parents gave me the first one for Christmas years ago. I bought both Melee and Brawl on launch and have loved them each for their individual strengths. Now Sony comes onto the stage with PlayStation All Stars and openly speaks of SSB? That’s got my attention. It says something that they are so confident in their product that they are willing to admit it being an SSB clone. In the world of PR that we live in, that takes some balls. So they have my attention, now it’s for me to decide whether it stands up to the competition.
What do I love about the game so far? The art, truly. Not to say that I’m not impressed with the other aspects of the game, but the art has stood out to me every time I’m looking at the gameplay videos and screenshots. They do a fantastic job of sticking to the art style of each individual game they are trying to represent, while also making the game bright and vivid. What stands out to me especially is the recently leaked photo of Sly Cooper’s level. What a gorgeous level.
