Oh man…If ‘he’ is availaible in this new game then any type of anti-hype barrier I could possibly put up would instantly be shattered. For this reason I’m going to completely ignore the fact that I even heard this rumor until there’s concrete proof.

I’m still picking up the issues and enjoying it. More interestingly enough though Archie just picked up the rights for Megaman comic that is going to start April 27th. Writers and artists from the Sonic comics are going to be doing it (in particular ‘Spaz’ especially liked his artwork from way back). I’ll probably tell the comic guys to add it to my box.
Sonic Universe is a nice compliment to the comic helps other characters get screen time away from the main stuff that’s going on. Silver still currently has the ‘Trunks Complex’ though.
Yeah I too just learned that Flynn is writing the Rockman comic, so I’m pretty hyped up for it =D
I really should read the Silver stories, they’re the only SU issues I didn’t read of it. Speaking of which are they planning on announcing TPBs that collect Ian Flynn’s run on the comic (160+)? That’s what I seemed to get from reading some of the stuff in the pages where they talk about Genesis.
I’m actually not sure if Genesis is a new comic or if it’s just going to be a saga in the main series yet. Where’s the stuff you read about it?

IIRC, Genesis begins in issue #226, so it’s a story arc, but if you read some of the pages that feature info from the creative team in the recent issues, they wrote about how they’ll be releasing some new graphic novels, which I assume means new collections (not Archives or Sonic Select). This leads me to assume that they might release collected editions of the more recent storylines.
Right? I have to admit this looks pretty damn good. Not hype yet or anything but hopeful. Colors was cool and Unleashed Day was fun. This looks like the perfect combo.

Exactly. There was a point where “he” could of jumped over a high wall and skip the entire hoping on the opening and closing window part. Doing this shaved off alot of time if you’re doing a speed run.
My personal guess is that Neo Metal Sonic may be playable after completing the game with both old and modern sonic.
It would be nice if there was a few secret boss battles.
It’s also a lot easier to jump into those propeller corners and squeeze past the first big section where you have to do all that jumping from the pull up bars over a huge pit. Shit sucks. He can also gain enough forward momentum to launch yourself off one of the ships humps and jump over a huge another rather large section. “He’s” fucking boss in that level.
