Got damn, you can pretty much freerun that whole stage.
doesn’t seem that far off from the genesis or ds/advance games. where you basically just hold forward and jump occasionally. granted, the genesis games had some form of platforming so i guess it’s not really in the same category.

The Genesis and DS games are 2 very, very different beasts.
The Genesis games didn’t just have “some form of” platforming, the Genesis games, as well as Sonic Advance 1 and a good chunk of Sonic Advance 3, were all about platforming. That’s the big issue with many modern Sonic games, including the DS ones (and Sonic Advence 2): it’s all about a memorization obstacle course taken at speeds you can’t possibly react to, so hold right and tap, Dance Dance-style, the occasional button. The Genesis games are nothing like that.
Dr. B had PS3-level graphics during the 16-bit era.
The Sonic R video was ridiculously broken.

Edit: and I really fuckin hated that infinite combo that Silver put on you in the game…cept he tossed my ass up against the invisible ceiling instead of the wall.

some of the dialogue that’s been revealed so far is chuckle worthy

That infinite combo has to be the worst glitch in any game I’ve ever seen.
I thought he was talking about the Genesis “Sonic the Hedgehog” before I clicked the link, I was about to NERD RAAAAGE! 
Sonic colors is looking damn good. It’s a shame that the game is a wii exclusive though. Nothing against the wii, but I would love a HD(ps3/360) version with an enhanced hedgehog engine that powered sonic unleashed day stages. The speed of that game was awesome.

Read reviews, play a demo if available. Don’t buy if the Spidey Sense tingles. Sonic Team is in cahoots with kitten-killing mafias the world over, sworn enemies of Dr. B’s kitten-saving public policy initiatives.
if somebody interviewed a sonic team member today and asked him what happened with 06? and thier response was “we didnt even try to be honest…nervous chuckle” Id quit gaming because finally I can be at peace…

watched the first episode…it was ok for the first 15 minutes…then I heard chris…then I stopped watching…
underground was ok to me…had a real dark theme and sonic was less of a dick even though JW was voicing him…the robotnik of that show was perfect…more of a tyrant dictator than “here break my new gadget” robotnik…singing and story plot ruined it all…save those aspects and you would have had something good.

Finally saw the Sonic glitches video. Holy crap, some of those commenters are dumb as bricks. “It’s glitchy but I still like it.” AAGH.
