They did a nice little update to the site. You can actually download the music for Splash Hill Zone Act 1 and they also put some nice new screens up! The old Tv monitors are back! There’s some screens of him doing the fuckin figure 8 run! Eggman got his profile put up. Nice touch with the quick Sonic running in the background. And they updated it with a Zone section. Music sounds closer to Sonic 1 and 2 style…I’m immediately wondering if Nakamura is involved or not.
Since the track they put up specifically says ‘Act 1’ in it I’m going to assume that the music is going to be done 3K style. Maaaaaaaaannnn…Sega stop doing this to me. I don’t wanna get hype for this game and then get shitted on again. lol I’m gonna go back to doing my chant now…

^ There wasn’t, except possibly Sonic Advance 1 and 3. And the two Rushes if you can get over a LOT of gripes. Also, Adventure 1 was wildly overrated and horribly put together.
RE: Sonic collection on DS - Tapping the screen to pause? For fuck’s sake. It’s like Sonic Team knows their fans will buy whatever is shoveled at them, and now ST is like “hey, for fun, let’s see how bad we can make this and still profit.” Glad I didn’t purchase that. What horse shit.

^ hey hey hey specs…I’m going to stand up for SA2. I liked Heroes but I beat it once and never really went back to it. SA2 I gladly played over and over again. And yeah…the whole having to tape the screen to pause the game definitely caused me to lift an eyebrow but for all the small issues and missteps with Sonic Classic Collection it does what I want it to do…which is provide decent and playable versions of these games on the go. If that’s all you really care about then you really can’t go wrong with it IMO. It’s NOT the sonic 1 port on the gba.
It’s unnecessary…but I’m not going to hate on it untile I can see it and how it plays. Not to mention that it would only be for one act. It’s not Werehog and it’s not a mechanic that’s going to be revisited throughout the entire game so it’s not a complete loss IF it’s true and it’s horrible.
They still having fired that guy who’s been yelling out during meetings for his ideas to get put into the games yet I see. At least they’ve learned a little bit to not let it take over the entire game this time lol. The game does look good but I still feel this game has momentum issues. Second boss battle was whoa! I was sure he was going to die that one time lol. Found it funny that they used the sound effect from the golem boss in Sandopolis Act 1 for when the Pillars collide. Definitely liking a lot of the ideas for stage 2…The wall caving in felt like a direct nod to Hydrocity Zone Act 2. I’m also going to say I don’t dig the boss music. It doesn’t sound good to me until Robotnik is in danger zone and it just sounds weaker in comparison to [media=youtube]LtQxNE_7Gm4"[/media]. It just doesn’t feel like it has enough of something in it… It’s just a nit pick though since it isn’t horrible but but I was imagining Jun would be able to come up with something more bad ass.
And if the game isn’t completely finished yet…pleeeeeeease take out that mine cart level Sega. That blemish doesn’t need to be there.

Also PSN will be updated with the following DLC for SEGA All-Stars Racing, but their price may not appeal to some. I’m just gonna wait for a price drop or such TBH-

I have the same thoughts as most of you: loved most of what I saw, except that fucking mine cart level. That level is disorienting. Something that bad just reminds me that they can still mess this game up.
the mine cart level was hot for like 5 seconds…then it becomes a headache for the remaining 4 or 5 minutes. why the fuck would they put in something like that…??? why make it so difficult to get from point a to point b?
