Some questions about seimitsu LS-32

so ive been playin on a sanwa JLF with an octagonal gate for awhile now, and I feel like giving the seimitsu LS-32 a shot. in a faq it says that the joystick comes with a 2, 4, and 8 way adjustable restrictor plate, however I also read that the 8-way is NOT the same as an octagonal gate. and looking at the pictures of a LS-32, i am at a loss to which part of the plate is the 8-way:

^is the 8-way the gate on the bottom? if so, I dont like how the diagonal points jut inward…

I read that there is NOT an octagonal gate for the LS-32, so is there a circle gate ppl can play on, or do they use the 8-way?

also which variation of the LS-32 is the best/most popular? what’s a good place to get them from? (I’ve only purchased for Lizard Lick’s before, i’m open to suggestions).

some quick direction will be appreciated, THANKS!

I have looked there multiple times, but it is a superlong thread. that’s where I got most of my info. I honestly cant find the specific answers to my questions. I’m going to look there again in the meantime…

the 8 way gate is a square. the one above it is the two way gate and the one below it is the 4 way gate. close thread.

PS: default sanwa gate is also a square gate.
