It’s really unfortunate the way things end up in this forum. Sure, it was fun at first to go back and forth with some random loser who made these bullshit posts, passing them off as knowledge but things like that get old fast, especially when this garbage spills over into other threads.
For example, the Chun vs. Urien thread. I recall a great debate with different views on that type of match-up. It was a great thread until Domokun came in with this “Oh I see, Urien’s great until I say he is, fuck you all” attitude. That pretty much ruined it right there because it instantly turned into a flame war.
It’s the same situation all the time and although I really enjoy reading members like Raishin X tear him up, I just gave up attacking Domokun because there’s no point, he doesn’t understand what is being said to him on a positive level (strats, combos, “tiers” etc.) Sometimes, it looks like he doesn’t even understand what he’s posting. His comments or “comebacks” are random insults, usually never having anything to do with gameplay. If they are regarding gameplay, they are just repetitive and always coupled with insults or obscenities.
I feel that everyone, at one point tried to reason with Domokun and help him “better” himself but he won’t accept it. He feels that every disagreement or counter post is a personal insult to him or SRK disagrees with him because we are purposely giving him a hard time…that’s not the case.
Unfortunately, banning Domokun may be the correct choice. :shake:
Dorya! I really don’t what that guy’s problem is. Watching him play is torture and so is reading his posts. I’m starting to think that there’s no saving this guy. Not just from bannination but from his scrubiness in 3s. And what really kills me is how he’s in/from California, a place with a great arcade scene. For all I know he could’ve been the next Valle, Cole, Watson anybody! But no, he’d rather be a bastard. He’d rather be petty ol’ Domo who’s never wrong and gets picked on for sharing his greatness. I like your comment about what he could’ve been considering where he comes from. It’s especially funny because I thought that despite all the shit talk, there may have been a very slim chance that he knew how to play decently. I used to read his posts and think “WTF? Ok, maybe he’s some slightly retarded psychopath who doesn’t know how to express himself properly”. But it’s clear now that he couldn’t back himself up and therefore cements the fact that he knows nothing about 3S (other than throwing) and should stick to less challenging games. Why don’t you try Karate Champ? The controls are pretty easy and best of all, there are no tiers.:tup:
I also find the excuses as to why he did so poorly to be quite amusing. He couldn’t even throw out a believable lie. Saying that you couldn’t concentrate because you had blue balls would’ve earned you more respect than “I didn’t try because the sticks were no good”.
