Everybody sticking together through MvC3 was my original plan from the start. I’ve been working with that in mind since I started trying to make TvC community stronger in my own ways. I like everybody I’ve gotten to know through this community and seeing them all stay together through MvC3 and become the strongest at it through our combined efforts would make me happy.

I am slightly worried about motivation to continue throughout the group. Whether its genuine or just salt we’ll see I guess. Maybe everyone could just play some VS with me for something fresh!

And John I didn’t mind going to WNF even if I just played you but half the time you wander off to go play Tetris and I don’t want to be alone ): Also I’ve been having money issues lately and cost of gas driving back and forth plus admission builds up.

Being as my work as a bit of an erratic schedule, I’m not sure if I can make it till later (around 8ish, hopefully), but I’ll do what I can to get the TvC people in.

My motivation to continue w/TvC hurt when I saw So Cal meet up with a number of NorCal, plus a few from other areas (Kurasa, Frankie G, Mango), and even with that, it was a low turnout for major standards. Its a rude awakening, but I’ve realized that TvC doesn’t belong in the major lineup anymore.

Due to the craziness of SCR I’m partially to blame for not organizing another side tourney, so I apologize.

Still, thinking about the matches vs. GCYoshi, it hurt seeing team SoCal get squished. Really bad preparation on our part. I want revenge damnit!

Rob, I do agree that I run off to play other games and such, but usually ryzrbyrn is there to play some matches with you. So don’t say you’re alone, haha. If you want to play VS there’s TVs there.

Like I said before, it doesn’t matter what reasons anyone has, whether its the weather, money, gas, location, drive, school, etc. If people come even once a month, I’d be satisfied. But what I see @ WNF is what’s there. I also can’t push for extra things for TvC if I don’t have evidence that a community is there for WNF.

I’ll be continuing to man the TvC station @ WNF till MvC3, so if anyone can make it, I’ll usually be there to beat up, get beat up, or help out with gameplay tips and stuff.

For me, I’m first gonna get my hands on MVC3, but I’m setting my main priorities on getting better in KoFXIII once they come out next year. I’m still down for casuals or anything for TvC Scene, however, I’ll need to make room for KoFXIII.

Tatsunoko vs Capcom Tournament @ Family Fun Arcade: The Road to MvC3

So, as everybody knows MvC3 will release soon. By our current bi-weekly schedule we have two tournaments left before release. Honestly, the state of TvC tournaments post of MvC3 release is a bit unclear right now, so for all of our sakes lets make these next two tournaments hype as hell. I want to see this TvC explode for the next couple weeks, so lets make it happen!

-Tournament starts at 5pm. Get their an hour or so early for casuals before the tournament.
-Giantz banned.
-Fire stage and Orbital Ring won’t be played unless both players agree to it.
-Entry will be $4.

Well. Its been a good run guys. By our by-weekly schedule, there will be no other TvC tournaments before MvC3 comes out. Of course, its not the really the last tourney ever, but its the last tourney before MvC3's release, which pretty much makes it the last tournament most people will play in seriously.

Its your last chance guys. Come to this and show your support for the game and community you love.

Actually, if people want a smaller entry cost post a comment here. I donno if people are really that cheap, but we’ll make this tourney as inexpensive as possible to get the maximum attendance if we have to.

Also to drum up more potential interest. Gonna be Arcana Heart 3, Vampire Savior, BlazBlue, Guilty Gear, and whatever the fuck else FFA runs now. There is a lot going on so everybody please make it down!

I dont think Ill make it sorry :\ , Ill be in LA most of the day(probably drinking with friends) and dont know when they will bring me back, So you guys bring your recording equipment and good luck. If you can get enough people maybe you can run a team tournament, oh and money matches are a part of what MvC2 alive.
