Yeah that Suija guy is sick…that was the one who won right? lol
dood Suijas mix up off of his B,B,C chain in the corner and mid screen is serious business… there are like four different things suija can do after the reset… FOUR. Tell me you wouldn’t be mind fucked if you were playing against a DECENT Suija player that had the AB chains down…
did i mention he can tick set up AB chains as well? bc his throw range is larger than most characters most people will try to jab him away up close so his standing D acts as a counter hit and then free AB chain…
funny thing is Zan spirit is still a better Choice for Suija in most cases cause he can stay in the air all day thanks to the Air Block reset he gets a afforded, dood is the only character in the game that can Air Block three times in a row… that shit is sick:karate:
p.s. that Suija color is fuckin pimp
Some guy got 76 wins in UM today!! >__<
dang! What characters was he using?
he was using two random characters and Iori as the third. that streak ran for almost 6hrs but had to stop cuz AI was closing. didn’t realize how long a UM match could last til i compared it to streaks that happened in kof xi. xi had a 32 win streak from some guy, and my 12 and 14 streak that spanned for around 2.5 hrs combined (including wins by other players in between streaks).
Yeah, I know who this is. Fool has a mad ego, but backs it. very consistent shit here. Autopilot even.
I was using him recently and I still remembered a lot of stuff, if you want some info next meet, I’ll teach you all I know, including timing those dash in and out LOV pressure games. I also know some good strings you can mix up with, believe it or not, Remy has great area coverage, even if his damage is such shit. Remy in the right hands is a great sneak attack character…
You need to come visit me soon sir =P
Miguel, you to. We gotta do some Super Turbo games sir, I wanna learn that sim bullshit.
I can’t wait till UM drops over here, I’ll be killing scary time learning Krauser vs practically everyone. I’m so rusty in 98 its depressing. Also battle archives 2 is coming soon, so that means RB2…
Lot of stuff to be excited about.
what i love about the way RB2 and Garou is played in japan is the 3/5 setup they got going or as i like to call it Heavyweight rounds.
It makes for more interesting matches between the two players cause you can’t really BS your way to three wins, you have to constantly be switching it up cause noramally come round 3 your opponent is picking up on your style and can bring the hurt to you if your not careful.
3/5 is also the best way to play casuals with good comp cause you’ll learn mental fortitude thanks to the comeback situation opted by the extra rounds.
Yeah you are so right about that; when me and my friends back at home play against each other we always set the matches 3/5; we always seem to have good rounds between each other all the time.
It’s better having 3 ouf ot 5 in Garou since tha matches go by so fast at times on 2 out of 3.
For sure, man. I’ll hit you up sometime
Is this AI, the Art Institute?
And if it is, only students of the school would be playing, right?
Just curious because of the UM and XI talk.
And for those that like the Real Bout series…YES!
AI is Arcade Infinity in Rowland Heights.
Address is:
1380 Fullerton Rd
Rowland Heights, CA 91748
(626) 581-4361
Thanks for the info. I was WAY OFF base.
People wanting to (seriously) play SNK games as well as Capcom games in an actual arcade still seems amazing to me. a.k.a. - I need to check that place out sometime.
I’m always down there on the weekends, so you’ll see me for sure.
how many KoF98UM cabinets are there at AI?
