My place got burgled. Most notable missings are my mother’s jewelry and my laptop. Kinda sucks. At least I had the forethought to encrypt the hard drive, so nothing sensitive on it is compromised. They didn’t touch my desktop nor any of the electronics nor coin jars, so it looked liked a hit-scram-and-run-to-the-next-country and sell-stuff-for-cash thing. Might never see those items again.
On a brighter note, I’m [finally] graduating from college today… which is why I can’t show up.
Sorry to hear that Fred. Did you file a police report? Congrats on graduating. Hopefully I’ll get my degree by the time I’m 28, that’s the current plan at least.

300 dollars went missing at my house ;[
It was the weekend Pulsr was nice enough to host the big gathering for Accent Core.
So somebody returns the favor and sharks $300 bucks. This money was apparently for his Dad’s medicine.
Now, just to let everyone know, each time we have a gathering, I will be using surveillance equipment that I OWN from my security consulting side-job. How pathetic is that? It’s come down to having to monitor all of our ‘friends’ to prevent further theft of people’s belongings. Absolutely atrocious.
Finally, please refrain from posting, “Zomg Pulsr that sucks man!”, because the fact of the matter is that one of us is lying, and shallow condolences such as those would just be too much of an insult.
Truly a sad day. We’re already a niche community as it is, props for destroying everyones trust in eachother.

I have to say that putting out a post like this makes it really hard for the people that honestly care to express their sympathy for a friend. I fully understand any apprehension he may now have about hosting large groups (or really, anyone at all) but being someone who’s gone through a lot of shit in the past couple of months (a car stolen, and $1000 cash stolen from my work desk), I would want to express my sympathy to someone who I respect and look up to when they’re dealing with something that sucks.
I realize that posting a “hey pulsr, that sucks, I feel for you man!” post (despite explicit directions not to) probably makes me suspect more than otherwise, but I can’t sit idly by and say nothing and just have things continue being awkward. Having hosted large gatherings at my own house in Thousand Oaks, I can say that if the same had happened to me I’d be equally distrustful of my fellow GG-ers.
I hope whoever stole the money owns up to it. Do it now and still regain some respect, and begin down the road towards gaining our respect. Do it never and revel in the fact that you’re helping to destroy the community.
It does suck, and I understand where you’re coming from. I just feel like tons of posts talking about how much it sucks won’t contribute anything. I’m sure everyone who is not a greedy, community-destroying thief feels genuinely bad for Pulsr.
There’s only one thing that could be done IMO, and that would be to have a system in which the money would be returned anonymously and w/o fear of retribution.
The purpose of my original post was to just alert people that their belongings are not safe around the people we play Guilty Gear with anymore, and they need to take the appropriate steps to protect them. :sad:

Tournament at AX, we need to plan who all is going, because we are still winning this shit, regardless of everything that has happened.
lets do some investigating and find out the names of everyone at pulsr’s place when the theft happened and then ask each one of them if they did it… we need a human lie detector(I am). or a real lie detector.
going to ax on saturday cuz i asked for the day off… if i knew another one was gonna be on sunday i would have gotten that off to but i have to work… working weekends sux hard.
