Max, let me know what I can do to help. I can at the very least provide one GG setup, and maybe a fairly decent-sized TV (depending on whether or not Amtrak will let me lug that thing onto the train. I should call them to find out…)
Speaking of trains, Amrak will be my mode of transportation. I know it’s a little expensive, but I think it’ll be fun as hell, and I like being able to relax on the way up. It would be awesome to have company. Maybe I’ll pick up a copy of Bomberman on the DS for the ride.
Also, how soon do you guys want to start ranbats (both FFA and AI)? I can pretty much fully commit to FFA ranbats after I get back from Japan on Sept. 23rd.

render said $40 for a one way ticket before, which is kinda pricey, but i’d love to try this once. As for scheduling a mid cali tournament, I think weekends that are not thanksgiving will work for me.
Jo, is there any way you can get in touch with the AI people and see what they have to say about us having ranbats there?
edit: what about inviting out-of-state ers? like ppl from washington, oregon, and arizona? i don’t know if we can fit that many ppl into one spot though… just throwing out a suggestion.

I kind of like the idea of Fridays for the AI ranbats. as long as they’re at like 7:00 or something. Saturdays are okay too, though, I guess. If we’re going to have staggered ranbats between FFA and AI, though, that means people who wanna go to both will never have a free Saturday EVER. Post up, fools! Maybe we should start a poll thread?
How soon do we wanna start these things? Does everyone wanna start them up in a couple weeks? or should we cool it for a little bit and then start rockin’?
Also, when posting in all caps, it’s best to have at least one sentence (usually the first) that’s not all-caps. Usually the rest will go through fine.

Okay then… we’re settling on Sat? I am thinking of going to AI either tonight or tomorrow (maybe both, I am seriously that bored) and let the owner know about RanBats kickin’ up again. So I suppose they’ll be startin’ as early as NEXT Saturday (as in September 8th), right? Feedback is appreciated. Must also do shoutouts thingy for EVO. Too much goodness.
I would love to see Ranbats going at AI, FFA is just to far for me… I would try to attend everyone i could and do it on Saturday or late Friday night because for those of us who have to work and commute it takes a bit to get back home on Fridays :sad:
I personally liked em on Fridays since it left the rest of the weekend open. Either way works for me though.
I’m off Monday so lets try to get something going Tomorrow(Saturday) or Sunday. Be it at someones house or AI. Someone give me a call if anything is going on.
