dont know if you’ve ever been to the Antelope Valley Mall? Cause they have a Garou machine there at the Tilt arcade. Only problem is that the D button doesn’t work on either side…so you can’t really play the game well at all. If you ever want to meet up so we can play some casual matches that would be cool. I play a lot of other SNK games as well…or if you want to stop by my pad, that would be no problem. Talk to you later.

I haven’t been to the AV Mall in a long time, last time I went to Tilt, they had a dead MVS machine in the back and had no plans to fix it. I might give them a call and see if that machine has been fixed yet. I’m over here on the east side, 30th st East and J-4. I play just about anything, but for the past year its been nothing but 3rd Strike and Garou.
Well peeps, I’ll bet you were probably wonder’n wtf is up w/ the casuals. Well, to be honest, I’m not 100% sure myself. At the mome, Masataka is hammer’n out a few issues at his shop, so we’re gonna have to hold tight for a little bit before we can have another one at his place.
Here is some POSSIBLE bad news tho, granted we have it over there later, we MAY have to pay a small entrance fee (cuz I mean, it is a place of business after all) AND we MAY have to move the time slot to someth’n like 11am-3/4pm on sundays. Remember, this is NOT in stone… yet. I’m just try’n to give you guys a possible worse case scenerio in the near future, so you can brace yourselves, just in case these changes do take place.
I don’t think I’m really gonna be able to answer any questions about this stuff until I hear more from Masataka, which hopefully will be later on in the week. I’ll keep you guys as up to date as possible on our casuals tho. In the mean time, get out there and introduce new people to the game by have’n little get togethers of your own.
On a side note, me and The Answer… and possibly Moo are think’n that we MAY take a little road trip to BFE… aka Lancaster in a couple weeks… perhaps. I’ll keep you guys posted on this as well.

Yea I play just about anything as well so if you ever want to meet up and play some matches that would be great. There is some slight comp at the mall now here and there…but nothing too grabd. They have MvC2, SvC:Chaos, CvS, Garou (missing thed buttons still), MvC (I play this at times), XvS, 2 games of MvS (dont really like this game too much), TTT (play it once in a while as well), and SC2 (dont really play this game at all). They also have MK4 but that game isn’t really that great…and no one plays it anymore. If you want we can meet at the mall and play a couple of matches if your down for that…just post up here about it. Alright well take care and I’ll talk to you later.

I’m down for some KoF, either DC or MVS is cool… i’m starting to really stink at garou, for some unknown reason prob cuz me can’t parry, or maybe i’m just getting too old… :xeye: keep me posted about the road trip…

Practice sounds nice, I haven’t played Garou in a while, but I think I sould practice up in the KoF games more, I lost all my skill in those games 
I don’t mind the no Capcom thingy, bt I was looking forward to playing 3rd against someone, or Project Justice, but its all good, Garou is more important.
Just let me know at least 2 days in advance when you guys are gonna head up here. I need to find more SNK peeps in this area, I know Hellfromabove lives in Santa Clarita, but I haven’t seen him online in a while, last time I talked to him was a couple days after Evo, but I do remember him getting into MOTW.

Master Giby - I usually head down to the FFA arcade in Granda Hills from time to time, about a 40-45 min drive. They have most SNK games there…well besides Garou and a couple of other ones. They got KoF 2k2 and 2k3, SS2 I believe, SvC:Chaos (if any of you guys play that). They also every capcom game there just about…especially 3S. The AV Mall also has SvC:Chaos…don’t remember if I mentioned that…controls are fine. They used to have GGXX but got rid of that and still have no clue why they traded that for CvS1. I have most SNK games here in my pad :)…I got a couple of sticks…got a PSX to DC converter and a 2 player PSX to USB converter as well for my computer. When are you usually off? Like I said we should meet up and maybe get some practice sessions together sometime.
If your down for that just post up here and let me know when is a good time for you. Though this Sat I have plans...so this weekend isn't the best one right now. Weekdays are fine for me if your down for weekdays...just let me know. Alright take care everyone and can't wait to meet most of you. Later.

Just let me know whenever you want to get together, I’m always free on the weekends, my only prob is that I don’t have a car, the bus may go all over the city, but I usually stay out when the busses stop running. I’m also free past 8pm every night…when the busses are dead.
I have to car so I can stop by your pad if it’s ok with you? I’m free all the time since I’m on unemployment at the moment :), though this Sat I have plans to go somewhere. So maybe we can meet up tomorrow or what not…play a couple of games are your place or mine if you want. Alright let me know what the plan will be…talk to you soon.

I don’t mind doing it at my place, I’ll be home all day tomorrow and Thursaday…and every other day, unemployment is a bitch. Is it possible to do it on Thursday instead, I gotta get a few things finished and I planned to do them on Wednesday.

Well, I’m glad MG and Noc will be able to get in some practice before some sick SoCal bad boys make their way on up to Nowhereland. I look forward to some good challanges and hope to take back w/ me some more tricks. Beware The Answer for I am not as competitive in nature as he. I’m sure 3 people can sleep over, but it might be a problem for the fourth person. He’d have to sleep on some sheets I lay on the floor. I’ve got a twin sized bed(on the floor), a futon(queen or full, not sure which it is, also on the floor.)and a couch in my room. There wouldn’t be anywhere else for another person to sleep, other than the floor.
You just bring your Grant, I’ll see if I can take him, I dunno who I’ll break out, but be sure I won’t go down without a fight :badboy:

I’ll take the floor, if i somehow make the trip, since I sleep on floors all the time… and it’s not like i’m too cheap to own a bed, i have no room for a bed in me room… you guys will definitely get better challenges out of the magician and the answer than me… they were the winnners at the tourneys while i was the one sleeping at home, on the floor of course… :bgrin:
MG - Shieeet, as long as you have 6ft of STRAIGHT floor space, thatz already considered a luxury. Say, do you by any chance have any means of get’n footage while we’re over there. I do believe the “fans” are demand’n it.
Noc - get in that practice man. Besides us here, I’m sure MG is about the best person to get in your practice w/ (so I’ve heard). Btw, are you guys in need of get’n any convertors? I SHOULD be put’n in an order by the time I get to you guys AND I’m also THINK’N about get’n one of those PS2 SF controllers.

Hehe, there’s nothing wrong with being competitive, that’s what makes the games even more fun imo 
The only way I can get footage, is by recording the matches on my vcr, then recording them with my web cam. I have this POS Digital Camcorder, but its 1.3 MegaPixels and it skips a lot of frames when recording. I have a digital camera, but I’m sure people wouldn’t want to see stills of what was going on, not unless one of us beat the living hell out of the other with the control pad or stick, now that’s worth capturing 
I’m still trying to figure out how my name spread all over the place. Only a few people knew I was good at MOTW, and just about all of them are in SoCal, and only 1 visists these boards. I will admit to bragging about my KoF skills to K4 some time last year, but now those skills are gone. I’d be lucky to beat 1/3 characters against an above average player. All I’m decent at now is MOTW and 3rd, I might have something in CvS2, but I doubt that seeing as how last time I got any comp in it was E3, and I got ass raped.
