Biggest show we’ve had for a meet thus far. Here are the results for the tourney.

- Magician (Freeman, Grant, Kevin, Gato, Marco)
- FatalFuryD (Jenet)
- Everyone else who entered.
We also did a team tourney. Team Old Man vs Team Magician(Only 8 people wanted to enter).
Team Magician had Redsunmisfit, Koll, Nocturnal, and Magician.
Team Old Man had Kyle, FFD, Old Man and Giby.
RedsunMisfit raped Kyle, FFD and Old Man. I took down RSM and Kool, then lost to Nocturnal cause of a converter issue, but I lost. Team Magician won 4-2.
This was another fun meet, hope the ones in the future can be as big as this one.
Holy shmoully. Biggest turnout I’ve had thus far. Bigger part of the gather was from WoE and SoCal doujin gamers, which really was opposite of my expectations. Thanks EVERYONE for showing up, it’s far and traffic’s bad-I really do appreciate it. Giby pretty much covered the tourny. RSM dude, someone’s been practicin’!
V.I.Player guests appearances were made by Linalys and Oldman(Toby). Lina came straight from work through UNGODLY traffic hours, and Toby took major part of his vacation to return from his long away from Socal Motw gathers. Lina would battle with tourney champ Tenken and took the win 5-4(I believe…), and won some 3S challenges also. It’s interesting to see everyone trying out different characters. My BS Terry needs some work though. Ren’s Freeman’sfeint dance after winning is funny as hell.
When we had our lunch, I was praising the food and the phrase top tier sausage was to be heard for the rest of the night ha. Six BOXES of pizza got rushed the F down pretty fast, so there were no pizza games. Jeez, you guys eat well. The booze is secured, it’ll have to be served next time. I am giving you guys MAD Props; there were no items lost, and the place was well organized before everyone left. I hope everyone including the newcomers Koll and Kei(Kyle) had fun. Congratulations to EFZ champ Tenken and MotW champ Master Giby.
Gib - You are now the man to beat. Htf can I be down? I guess I’m just gonna have to wear you down in team battle w/ my BAD ASS team mates Noc and especially the new team killer, RSF!
Noc - Congratulations on 2nd place in singles and for take’n out Gib in the team battle! It always amazes me that I STILL see new stuff from you guys every time we meet.
RSF - Holyfreak’n Cow! You’ve definitely come up. The only thing I can say is get in that down LK after you jump HK w/ Gato and follow up with the neck break. Way to rep!
FFD - Thanks for hosting one of our best meets yet. Itz nice to see that you’re making some pretty good progress with Jenet. Keep it up.
To all the other new heads that showed up at the meet - thanks for braving a new game. I hope you guys had a lot of fun. If any of you have any questions, please feel free to ask (I know a decent amount about the game and so do Gib and Noc).

First I wanted to say thanks to FFD for hosting the meet this time around, I had a great time not just in Garou but in MBR and 3S as well. Didn’t get to play anyone in EFZ and also I didn’t get to play you in either MBR/EFZ there’s always next meet if you bring your labtop or something for it. Magician still with the evil Grant powers, sooner or later I’ll break him down more. Good shit to Manny for really showing a lot of improvement in his game, keep up the good work :tup: , also thanks for letting us record matches no your camcorder. Hopefully you can get those up and running on your PC or something, I want to check out all the good stuff on there. Giby as always beasting wtih Kevin, I’m telling you when it comes down to tourney time Kevin all the way. Oldman thanks for taking your timje off to come down to the meet, always great playing ya and I hope you had fun as well. GGs to all the new guys that showed up in Garou/NGBC and 3S, Im always down to play anything really not just Garou. Next time we should do round robin cause I find those to be a lot more fun, but I also don’t mind doing ladders either. If we end up getting the same peps as before we can try it out and see how it goes. Also Team tourney was pretty fun, Manny pretty much took care of it for us haha, we should have recorded those matches. Alright guys keep playing and I’ll see you guys again in a couple of months. We should do a pre-japa meet for me, so I’ll know if I’m ready for them if I can get through you guys. Take care.
As previously noted, props to FFD for hosting the tourney. Great place and great people. Even more noteworthy is everyone’s continuous improvement. Noc and Gib were solid as usual. I’m glad not alot of my footage was recorded of me w/ you guys, otherwise it would double over as a combo exposition. Manny was quite a surprise this time. Dismantled my whole team except for Gib. Kyle and Koll: It was nice meeting you two. I didn’t play you much, so hopefully, we get a chance to play more next time. FFD: Your Jenet improved significantly since the last time I saw you (which was a long time ago). Keep it up. All in all… another successful meet.
