The MVS is a huge POS, its not one of those things you carry, you have to lug that shit around. I’m talking about the consolized one.

I can’t make it to the Feb. meeting because I have company from out of town, but I wanted to let you know that I’m interested in making the next one. I’m in San Diego, but I’ve got no problem driving up to the OC for a day of fighting games. And hey, if someone between me and the meet needs a ride that could probably be arranged.
As for my Garou skills… I’m certainly no tourney champ level player, but I’m decent. Doubt I’ll win the casual tourney or anything, you’ll probably stomp me. But that’s fine, all in good fun. I used to have the AES Garou, but I’ve since sold the Neo. I now play on the PS2 port (which is much better than the DC one). I can bring my Japanese slim PS2 as well if it would come in useful. Got the other good SNK games too - NGBC, SS Tenkai, Neowave, etc. Some casual NGBC play sounds fun too (but I REALLY don’t know that game too well yet). So keep this thread posted, and if you do a March meetup hopefully I’ll be free. Later…
I have a mod Ps2 that I bring along for the meets most of the time with all those games and I don’t mind playing some casuals on those. We mainly play on the DC port for the meets mainly since Magician hasn’t made the transformation as of yet, but soon enough I’m sure he will. I play on any version but I just need to adjust to the timings for a but then once I get use to them I’m straight. Any new people are always welcomed and don’t worry if you aren’t good enough. Everyone here gets better everytime we meet so it’s a great way to learn new stuff and improve your game. Bring what you need to bring but I’ll already bring my mod PS2 and DC, so it’s all good. Also I think this time around we should record our matches for casuals and or the round robin sounds better. Manny bring your camcorder so we can record this time for sure. I want to update our old videos with these new ones so people get the idea of how much better we have gotten. Alright take care guys and keep playing.

Koll: sucks. Hope you get another job soon. If you decide to come and need a ride though let me know. And yeah, I agree we should record this time. I have some VHS tapes lying around, if I figure out how to use it we won’t have any problem getting the entire meet.
I’m pretty much down to play on any platform, the only reason why I’m partial to the DC is cuz thatz all I have. Unless Noc and company come by w/ a PS2, MVS or emu, I don’t have access to play on other versions, but that does NOT mean that I’m not down. Of course, these guys also know that to get the maximum potential out of me, I’ve gotta have my saturn pad (hopefully I can come up on a decently priced PS2 Saturn Pad one of these days).
And since therez been a number of requests for recordings of our matches, we’ll push for some new match footage. Practice up everyone, we have just about a week to go. And as usual… we fight for the last slice!
firenze - no guarantees of have’n another meet in March since our meets are not necessarily monthly, but we’ll definitely keep you posted about our next meet. Keep practice’n on whatever platform you choose in the mean time.

I live in Ralto. It is in Riverside County, only reason I am pretty much unable to go is because since i lost my job, I lost the car I was gonna buy from my cousin :(.
You can probably hitch a ride with FFD or someone else hopefully hell I would go pick you up myself. Only thing is my car will already be packed enough with 2 other peps from Lancaster plus our bags and stuff. I’m sure we can make something work out cause I really want more peps to show already ha. How many people can you fight on your ride? I dont see the point of taking 2 cars if 1 is enough, not to mention gas prices at these times.
