I know you guys are not “for sures” because of the game sets (and distance)…at worst, I hope we can get some good video (I am DVRing ‘is that a word?..’ all the TVs the entire time - exhibition and causal play as well) and can entice you to make the trip next time…

Here is a Temple Arcade Update…
I have received a great response about the tourney…and while we have close to (30) people registered, I have a ton more saying/talking that they are going…
AWESOME and thanks!..but you need to friggin register on the site…(I got brackets to seed, space to make, and times to work out…) So, I have updated the tourney page with some links and crap to, hopefully, inspire you lazy asses to get up and register. 
It is my hope that if people see who is registered I may get a two-fold reaction…
- Either people will see who is registered and want to compete and sign up
- Or, the people who are registered will give a ration of shit to those who have not yet and get them with the program :bgrin:

Come on man, you’re invading this thread and you don’t even have ANY SNK games (not even as a potential) ANYWHERE in your tourney. Crap, you got potentials like X-Men: The Next Dimension and Marvel vs Street Fighter. What’s up? At LEAST put in a KOF title like say 98 or 02. I’m not even asking for Garou here, though that WOULD be nice… being that this IS a Garou tourney thread. 
I hope I’m not coming off TOO mean here. I DO wish you luck with your tourney. Whether you have SNK games (ESPECIALLY Garou) or not is up to you. But if you want to see any participants from THIS thread show up in your tourney next year, it would PROBABLY be wise to have some of these games in there THIS year so that people from Cali can get a better idea of what to expect for next year.

I’m trying to get my hands on an MVS copy so we can use that at ther meets to so you can see the difference, and if we held a big tourney, I think the MVS copy is the one we should use.
btw, My Yahoo hasn’t been working for almost a week, I don’t know what’s up with it, it tells me YIM has encountered an error…blah blah blah. have you gotten your PC fixed yet, Ren?

Next meet is planned for the 28(17 days), I want to hold a tourney at this meet for Garou, let me know if you guys are interested. Entry will be $3-5 and there’s a slight possiblility of prizes awarded to the winners, and possibly all particapants, depending on how many show(Ren said max is 10, so it might not be enough if 10 show).
Let me know if you’re interested or not, I already know none of us are gonna be going to AZ for robb’s tourney since the meet is still on, so I decided on doing one of our own, if you guys are coo with it.
wha, Wha, WHAT?!! When did this happen? Man, I REALLY wish you guys would at least PM me before such announcements. I’m not sure this is the best of time or even location to have an official tourney (mean’n $ or prizes). And in theory, we will prob be miss’n 2 major competitors (which thus ought to work out in a lot of OTHER peoplez favor).
Guess the Lan crew has been hording secrets for some time now. :badboy: This next casual is mainly to work out a few conceptual ideas that we have for evo as well as to get more ideas from people at the meet. I didn’t think a prize tourney would happen THIS soon, but if you guys really think you’re ready… BRING IT!
Since I’m down and dirty, just about anything goes:
- Macros(multi-button mapping is ok)
- ANY controller (that works w/ no probs - turbo buttons’r ok)
- big bad bosses WILL be in the mix!
And yes, this WILL be go’n down on the DC since this will be the platform that we will be using for evo. MG, you really need to get to me man.

I want to participate and besides the entree fee what else would I need to bring?
Just bring whatever controller and controller adaptor that you like. (Maybe money for food/drinks… and bets?) I don’t think you’ll need anything else.
