just saw the vids last nite… didn’t know i can learn so much from it… just found some new ways of playing just buy watching… 
i’ll capture the footage whenever magician can lend me a better vcr, mono’s don’t quite work very well… oh noc’s kain was pretty sick, i see the pattern you’re trying to create you kain-i-rist…
My Kain was alright I learned some new new lockdown patterns with him, I’ll bust it out next meet. While your at it Moo send me a copy of the matches

Great time. Much props to XTG for host’n. If we get the time, me and Moo will try to work on convert’n the footage some time dur’n the week (but THIS week is kind of a push). W.E. is pretty much out of the question because of festivities.

Well, I just checked out the vid on a diff VCR and unfortunately, the sound did not come out all-that (quite screechy, but still doable tho). And no, there will be NO convert’n go’n on THIS week. Hopefully we’re able to put this onto DVD for MG some time next week.
On another note… I haven’t really been pay’n attention to our numbers until like a day ago. Moo just told me that we hit over 6000 views and over 300 replies. And OUR numbers (players) are still grow’n… slowly but surely. This is ONE of the most popular threads on SRK. Way to go guys. :encore: Can’t wait for the next meet.

Me and Giby decided to go ahead and make some match videos of us playing each other in MAME. He’s still working on editing them since theres no sound :(. I’m working on the vids Noc and I did earlier today, they’re nowhere near as good as what we did at the last meet, we used some shitty ass pads, but we did the matches for people to see until the good shit comes.

Oldman it was nice to see you and play with you, we had some of the most close matches of the night in my opinion. You were pulling some crazy combos with ROCK against me only, but thats cool cause it makes me feel special, keep on practicing see you soon. :tup:
NOC: You are a new man, I was very surprice and happy to see how much you have improve it means that you have actually been practicing (unlike me :sad: ) Some of the most frustraiting matches were against your KAIN. Keep on playing man you are on your way to be a great garou player.
GIBY: Also as NOC a lot of improvement since our last visit to your place I can see you and him been practicing together. Tough matches against all your characters its nice to see that you can play with most of the roster unlike me.
MOO: Fucking TERRY-IST you took me down hard with those tactics. You served me the hardest woop ass in the whole nite, but hope you learned your lesson of what happens when you do that (BOOGY :badboy: ) Big props to you man it seems that MAG has showed you some of his cheap tactic :lol: I can see you are improving a lot.
MAGICIAN: Great games man as always the thoughest opponent, I really need to start practicing hard again to be a worthy opponent, and you get the same excitment that I get when I play against you. Keep up the good work man. :tup:

Over all a fun nite it made me realize that all of you guys steping up your game really fast and that I need to start to step up too. Unfurtually I this month I need to train hard for a KOF tourney that we are having on the 22nd, even I’m required to have a strong level of KOF to be a part of the K-FORCE. But apromice after that its all GAROU :devil: BEWARE
BTW all of you guys are invited if you want to see some sick ass KOF action. Also they have a GAROU machine there and random challengers.
I was talking to XTG and he told me about the KoF tourney…I dont know if he told you about getting a Garou tourney going also. I might stop by for that tourney and actually enter it ha…even though I’m not that great at KoF. Also thanks for a kind words…I’ve learned some new stuff with Kain I have to show you guys. You might just hate him even more…I will continue to step up my game. I know I need to especially when I have to play against you and Magician. Well peeps, tho the event on the 22nd is primarily for KOF 02 & 03, a few of us are down to have a Garou tourney as well dur’n that time. I am SERIOUSLY handicapped when it comes to use’n an arcade stick for this game (never thought I’d say that).
This should be happen’n at an arcade in Huntington Park (we’ll be get’n the name and address to this place soon from Ans) at say around 4pm (max till 10pm). I believe entry fees will be $5 (+ whatever to play). Let me know how many people are down for this. I would say that we need AT LEAST 10+ peeps to have a serious tourney go down for Garou. So post up!

It all depends on my situation for this month…if I can’t make this tourney I’ll make the next gathering for sure. sorry to take soooooooo long to give an update of the vids… just got back from one of the most wildest drama like weekends ever for me at least… i’m gonna start the vid capturing tonight… MG, I’ll PM you when it’s all done.
there are some casual vids up at snk-capcom.com under media section and then garou. Does anyone know how the guy kept canceling out the first part of kain’s charge back forward+c(hp) the flames for the startup happen but then he never dashes forward. I thought maybe it was a fient but the frames hit. Also I watched this other combo video where jaehoon did this wierd flaming kick move where he did a pose like the startup for his super and then flew forward with a a flaming kick, anyone know what that move is?
You can break out of Kains charge back then foward + D move…you get 2 hits but you can’t really follow it up. Though it does help with some mixups at times…since most people don’t know you can break that move. I’ve found a bunch of new stuff with Kain people didn’t know about, I’ll try to make a video or something for it. If your wondering those matches are between me and Master Giby, I’m the first player on all the matches. Though the videos coming up are way better than those matches. As for Jae I’m not sure myself what more that is…I can look into it though. Alright I hope this helps answer your question…later.

Do his qcf,qcf+C super and hold D, if the whole super connects, you’ll be able to follow it up with the C, you just need to time it right so that it’ll hit. It does a lot of damage.
FINALLY done with the capturing… 4 hours and 45 min of clips, of course, with some editing, it’ll be more like 3 hours and some… man i tired! quality came out the same as VCR, so picture is great, sound is not so great, doable…
MG, PM me your address… i’m gonna send some DVDs to you tomorrow, have fun editing them, they’re all in MPEG format for now, let me know if you need them coverted to something else…
