I’ve been to the same named club in Reno, Nevada a while back Moo…I really didn’t like it too much. Also I use Hotaru’s turn around air move at times…it is a good tool to use though in mathces. I use Gato’s barely at all…I still need to mess around with that move more though. Well then if Moo can’t do anything this weekend then I’ll see if Magician is down or what not. If nothing is down then I’ll just drive back late I don’t mind at all. Alright well everyone take care…later.

KabukiMono - did you mean ME not use’n Gatoz chain? I know it, but I just don’t employ it much (plus I sort of forget it off the top of my head cuz I don’t do that and the aerial cross up move THAT much). Heh heh.
As for the US vs Jap ver of the DC game, I don’t THINK there is any diff (game play wise). My friend has an OG Jap copy for DC, but I didn’t notice any diff. There was supposedly 2 diff ver of Garou released for the arcade tho - one of these ver supposedly had some nasty juggles available (and then there were like 3 diff ver on emu).
The game tends not to let you juggle break move into BROKEN break move. At least thatz what it SEEMS LIKE on the DC (either that or itz just difficult to do). Hopefully you got a chance to mess w/ Kainz feint cancels. You can probably do some pretty nice combos w/ that. I have some in mind, but they’d probably be sort of difficult to do.
For all you guys out there, the peeps around me pretty much use the DC ver exclusively (unless otherwise stated). And of course, all our tourneys have been conducted on DC.
Noc - If Mooz gone, then perhaps we can SEE about look’n up Ans for the w.e. I’ll most likely try to catch up w/ you after Reg. So what game(s) are you gonna be compete’n in (or is that supposed to be a surprise)?

Magician - Alright then hopefully THE ANSWER will pose up and we shall see whats up with this weekend coming up. There might be a slight chance I might not go since at the momeny I don’t have money. Still waiting on a check heading my direction…hopefully will get that by today. As long as I get the check before the tournament it’s all good…cause I don’t really have much to money. I’m going to do my best to make it for sure…even if I need to borrow money. As for what I’m enterting again depending on how much money I got. Most of the time I enter every game they have for the tourney. So yea I spend a good amount when I go to tournies but it’s the only way to get better. Alright talk to you later.

The vids should be up within a week or 2. We have around 2 hours of footage, 3 rounds, time set to infinite, and we’ve got about every character on that tape, I think the only character not on it is Kain. We have lots of Terry, Jae, Jenet, Hoku and Grant. I was supposed to have 10 vids up last night, but the guy doing the vids hasn’t said shit to me since he got the tape, and I’m kinda get pissed.
I still have all the pics we took with my cam, but I can’t find my USB cord for it anywhere in my room, it’s going to be a while before I can get these pics on the net.
I had a great time that night…um…morning, that shit went on for hours and hours. We need to do something like this again sometime, but I know its a pain for you guys to get up here, maybe when I get a chance to get down there, I’ll let you guys know if I ever do show up in the OC. I might be down there for the n-g.coms meet up, but that’s by invite only, so I don’t know the chances of any extra peeps getting in.
I SOOOO HATE THE RAIN!!! Almost felt like a ghost was in my room last nite. Luckily no rain for the weekend… 
Can’t wait to see the match vid too… was too buzz that night to remember 'the hell happened, but i do remember getting swept by nocturnal in my only match. I think i won like 2 rounds and he won like 9, hence 3-0, something like that… it was pretty bad.

See but when we played at evo I was able to get one break move into another and then into super and then into a final d,u+k
OH and I haven’t messed with to many feint cancels yet though I have been considering trying to do charge partioning tricks with fient cancels.
KabukiMono - I can only think of 2 possible explanations for the combo you performed, but who knows there could be others.
Ex: Grant - you can break just before OR just after the 1st hit of the uppercut
I’ll give you a combo suggestion for Kain a bit later.

The fate of the casuals HERE (LA/OC) is still quite a bit on the shaky side. I just got news that our VERY short lived home may soon be go’n under. In light of this news, we MAY be have’n a MAJOR (as in CASH PRIZE) tourney by the year’s end. I’ll be sure to keep you guys posted on further developments.
In the mean time, some of us have been do’n what was suggested of these casuals all along, which was just to get a few people together at someonez place and have some games. Sometimes some of us will travel to meet other groups (but this doesn’t happen THAT often).
Suggestions on a new home are welcome. For now, we’ll just keep try’n to keep up as best as we can in our current state.

Whats up guys? I know I’ve been out for a while but I’ve had a lot of work. Well cant wait for the vids to come out, and hopefully we can get another place to do the casuals.

Hmmm… not so sure about have’n someth’n over here. I can’t accommodate all that many people at one time (perhaps 6 people tops?). Plus, in any given room, in theory I would only have one screen available for people to use. I was sort of think’n of pitch’n in for another screen adapter, but me poor. :sad:

Right now I’m think’n 11/27. I want to know how many of you support the idea of have’n a major Garou tourney and if you’d be down w/ this date or if not, when would you like to have one. I’m also sort of lean’n on $10 for the entry (this is our LAST shot at this place!). Remember guys, the higher the entry, the higher the pot! We also have to consider that part of the proceeds will probably go to the shop.

Sounds like a plan Magician…I’m not really sure 100% right now if I can make it then. Since I’m going to start working somewhere new here soon…but I will do my best to go for sure.
