Just wanted to say that I had a really great time at this Garou/BBQ gathering we had. I learned a lot of new things here and there from everyone that I got to play with. It’s too bad all the stuff we recorded didn’t come out as great of footage as we hoped :sad:. I really wanted to watch those intense matches I had with THE ANSWER, some of the best Garou matches I’ve ever played 
. Your guard cancel and JD techniques are really awesome…I really need to learn to do that better. I’m not suprised why you won that Florida tourney…really great stuff. Magician your Grant is pretty scary when on point…I can see why people fear him when you use him :tup:. Moo your not that bad man…don’t say you suck…just need a bit more practice like me. It’s all good that’s why there gatherings so that we can improve our games and learn new things. I hope you learned some stuff in 3S, parry wise :)…I don’t mind just doing training mode with peps.
Also after watching all the KoF heads playing I'm sure I would have got my ass kicked :). I was going to play but I knew I would have lost quick...you guys are too good. The best part about the gathering would have to be not just the BBQ and playing games with everyone. It would have to be all the funny ass pictures we took with the dam hotdog and ranch hahahah. That shit was priceless...it's all in good fun...unless someone posts the pics online lol. Alright well next time guys me and MG will try to make it down to OC one of these days. I'll more than likely drive down there with him...so we will let you guys know when we will stop by. Alright also wanted to thank MG for letting everyone hang out at his pad even if we were a bit noisy. Alright I'll talk to everyone later.

Alright peeps… the hang over is not so bad, so I might as well spit as much as I can remember while I still can. In a nutshell, it was a great meet. We all had a pretty good time. LOTS of good food, LOTS of good booz, and a good number of SNK PLAYERS. Thankfully, for many of us, this special meet was comprised of a slightly higher caliber of Garou play…than usual that is (which means that I was able to take back some tasty trix w/ me… not to take away anything from the usual casuals tho). Of course, be’n that Noc & MG are a good couple of hrs away from us here, we won’t be make’n this trip again any time soon.
MG - so we’re FINALLY able to put all the rumors to rest! Yes, peeps, this guy CAN play… plenty of technical skills, and probably even more analytical than any of the other Garou players I’ve come across so far. I guess we’ll be see’n you do a little more damage in the scene.
Noc - shit, yet ANOTHER very impressive player for only have’n played this game a short while. You’ve got yourself a great teacher/train’n partner. I expect to see you guys tear’n up the scene and help’n to rep for the west like me and Ans.
Ans - you sick bastard! Itz get’n HARD to uphold my title, but I have no regret in pass’n the torch to you… when the time comes. :badboy: (I’m get’n old… sigh)
K4z - glad to have finally met you guys. I wish I was able to get in more games w/ you, but I’m sure there will be more chances in the future.
MUCH props to MG for be’n a kick ass host (and more props still to his momz for hook’n up even MORE KICK ASS food AND be’n such a gracious host). I hope we didn’t permanently scar you guys. MG is work’n on get’n whatever footage he can from our get-together. Unfortunately, we kind of had a few probs w/ the footage, so I’m hope’n we’re able to get you guys at least a few decent (DRUNKEN) match clips. Hopefully there will be more match footage to come next month.

I myself can’t wait till the matches get online…some really great match footage we got. Even if some has us playing while we were buzzed or drunk :xeye:. MG told me about the footage also so hopefully we will get that back quick. Thanks a lot Magician for the kind words…I tried to do my best while we played. I will continue to play and improve my game…also thanks for showing me that Saturn game. I know I didn’t really play it much, cause I was actually really tired when you tried showing me the game. I do remember what you told me about it though…I was thinking about getting myself a Saturn…might still do it.

Yeah, I kind of want to see how the vids come out too. Man, you’re REALLY die hard if you get a saturn. If you wanna save some $, I’d say it might be worth do’n some research to find a saturn emu. Of course your big prob would most likely be get’n ROMs. In theory, I might be able to help you out there tho. I’ll PM you w/ help and requests.
Alright peeps, for now, I’m going to request a somewhat simple project. If peeps out there can pull together, I’d like to make a list of aerial chains for each character (of course this probably only applies to about 1/3 the chars in the game).
Here are a few that I have so far:

Hoku: this guy has multiple; I THINK he has HP to LK, but only if you jump straight up, if someone else out there can confirm this and or list the rest of his aerial chains that’d be nice
I know Hotaru and Gato should also have aerial chains as well. I think Hotaruz can get pretty extensive, esp w/ the step kick. I’ll assume the Koreans probably have aerials as well. Great idea Magician…yea I have yet to still learn most of the 2 hit air chains characters have. Like the ones THE ANSWER was pulling off when we played or that he mentioned when I was in training mode. Let me add to the list you start if I remember most of them correctly. Most of these are from the top of my head…so if I miss something please just add to what I posted. Here goes:

OK we had 2 mambers of the K4Z practicing GAROU as we speake they say they only need a week to get a strong level so this means new competition that should be fun.

i don’t have any those crazy insane pics that the K4 force crew took, which were so wrong, and i don’t have net access at home…
Overall, the night was just chaotic… for once, i was afraid to sleep… and the thing with the hot dog in ranch is just not right… hopefully, we can have another gathering like that again, this time without the ranch-dog attacks… 'out :tup:

I have actually done another chain with rock besides that one but it was against a grounded opponent. I don’t remember what it is right now and I am not near a dreamcast otherwise i’d post it.
I can’t believe you haven’t been doing Gato’s Air Chain though? It’s too good plus it easily combos into shit on the ground which combos into his dp+k which combos into super!!! yeah.
I was wondering if anyone knows if the american copy of garou has a fucked up juggle system in compared to the japanese one because I am not able to do this really long juggle string with kain that I did when we played at evo. The string is d,u+k break, d,u+k, break, d,u+k break, 2qcf+k, d,u+k.
Oh and does anyone there use Gato or hotaru’s auto air turn around? I have been messing with it against some of my friends and you can do some crazy cross ups with it. I want to try some advanced corner crossup stuff with it but, my stick died recently so I haven’t had much want to practice on a pad. Anyway keep the garou scene alive guys. Maybe post up some matches.
