BB is installed and working. It’s on a 42’ LCD HD TV. Looks beautiful.
We’ve got someone here with a camera recording too.
EDIT: typo.

Denjin’s BlazBlue is here. Assuming everything goes well, it should be up and running later tonight.
Denjin’s BB is up. It’s $0.50 per play. It’s on an h2h cab with SBO regulation stick setup. Oh man, I’m getting that first 30 win streak. I just called up and they said there’s around 20 people waiting right now so yeah. If you want games go ahead and head to Denjin. I can just taste it now.

50c/play.
Thank you, post edited.
I had a total of around 70 or 80 wins tonight. My longest streak was 27 wins. I got kicked off by Dae cough bastard cough. Man after that run I just went and bought my own soda, yeah I was that thirsty. GGs to the huge crowd that was there. Fuck, how long was I on that machine?!

Still waiting on Tilt (no surprise there)
Will hopefully post up an ETA once I’ve spoken to the manager.

i need my 8gb SD card back Tushar!! I got a new SD card reader that might work for it.
No more BB at Puente Hills…
And they still haven’t gotten the real version!
The closest BB is a 1 hour and 30min drive for me:sad:
Seriously. It’s at least an hour for me and I definitely don’t want to do that on the regular. Thanks for the heads up AYGCSMD.
And Tilt proves to be extremely lame once again, why do I not find that surprising.
So apparently nobody below a certain level of the corporate food chain really has any say in the matter (this includes the manager Michelle, yea we’re all pawns with little to no authority or influence it seems).
So if anything, it would appear that going to tilt.com, clicking on the contacts tab and sending them a comment or complaint is more effective.
This is going to be relatively tedious, but if you guys haven’t given up on Tilt getting BB and AH2 and whatnot, then unless I run out of ideas, I’m still willing to do what I can.
If anyone is still willing to take the trouble, I’m going to try to leverage my way into talking to the higher ups directly (essentially try to forcefully present myself as the middleman) and hopefully somehow get both a final BB cabinet(s) and Arcana Heart 2 back at Puente Hills.
So…here we go:
Contact Tilt’s home office through the tilt.com website (click on contact and fill out the form)
-Let them know that you guys are upset that Tilt would randomly throw in games like BB and Arcana Heart 2 and then remove those games at a whim.
-Let them know that there is a good fighting game crowd in the Puente Hills area, and that by doing this they are losing out on business. On top of that, SoCal has one of the largest fighting game crowds in the US.
-To an extent criticize their decision by comparing Puente Hills Tilt’s game selection to FFA, Denjin Arcade, Arcade Infinity, Super Arcade and emphasizing how lacking they are in terms of new games. Bring to their attention that said arcades are located in the general SoCal area and are heavily populated by fighting games and that each and every one of those arcades has a fairly large gathering of dedicated regulars.
-Let them know that the reason why the BB test cab at Puente Hills has died down recently is because the final version of the game has been released at both Denjin Arcade and FFA, and since Puente Hills Tilt doesn’t have BB yet and most importantly NO WORD OF TILT GETTING IT ANYTIME SOON, they are losing out on customers. And the reason why Arcana Heart 2 hasn’t gotten that popular is because
-Let them know that even though FFA and Denjin already have BB, it is still an hour drive and so many people in the Puente Hills area that regularly go to Arcade Infinity or wherever would much rather play at Puente Hills rather than drive 1 hour to FFA or Denjin.
-Try to sound pissed but at the same time keep it formal (criticize their decision and do what you can to convince them that they made a stupid move)
-Here’s the important part: Let them know that you’ve designated one of their Puente Hills Tilt employees to be the middleman for the BB/AH2 community. I’m the only asian with glasses at Puente Hills Tilt.
My info:
Name: Roger Tung
Cell #: 626 253 4468 (please for the love of god don’t pester me with phone calls, we’re providing my cell number in the hopes that TILT will contact me)
Email: rogertung001@gmail.com (once again please don’t bombard me with emails, this is also to give Tilt a means of contacting me so I can relay messages from the BB/AH2 community)
-Finally, everyone who contacts TILT through the tilt.com website, please PM me on SRK and tell me you’ve done so. This is so I can get a good head count of how many people are bugging them so I can evaluate how best to approach them as well as the probability of them taking action.
On a final note, please post up any questions and concerns you guys have here so I can bring them up with the head office if they do decide to contact me.

Update:
Current situation is Aksys Games wanted $30,000 for the BB cabinets (I’m going to assume 30k for 50 or however many of them Tilt was ordering) and apparently Tilt thought that was too much.
According to their reasoning, Tekken 6 was only $15,000 or so and has made more money than the BB test cabs. So they’re gonna invest in more T6 cabs. Yea, what the fuck?
Now this is essentially stone cold fuck stupid considering that:
Tilt with Tekken 6 in SoCal for $1.50?! Absolutely retarded considering it’s not going to make ANY money with both Super and Vid94 in the neighborhood with T6 for a quarter. Not to mention Super closes at like 1am and Vid at like 4am.
The amount of money that players from San Diego spend for gas to drive to Super is like…maybe an hour of T6 at $1.50? So no, nobody’s playing T6 in SD at all, period, unless they’re idiots.
No shit, the BB test cab isn’t gonna make as much money as a T6 cab. For starters, it’s a fucking test cab. Second, T6 has been out for a while so it has already had time to build up a steady stream of newcomers to add to the old schoolers.
Please let the numbnuts over at Tilt know how stupid they are for said reasons, and feel free to add several of your own by visiting the tilt.com website and making use of the contact tab/form.
I went ahead and edited the topic for this thread. Should BB have a 3v3 over at SoCal Regionals. Denjin is completely down to throw one. Any thoughts? Go ahead and vote for it in the SoCal Regional thread in Tournament Postings.

So only players from FFA and Denjin will compete!!
Damn those Arcades between San Diego and Simivalley!!!
