Soap and Deodorant: How do you stay Fresh?

Dr. Bronner’s soap is really good

And my balls.

One of my few holdovers from my “hippie” days. I used to wear pachouli and tie-dye and patchwork and have long hair. Then I realized that most of those assholes treat others who aren’t like them like shit, which is ironic because their surface level appearance of acceptance and being nice to eeveryone is what drew me in in the first place. But really they’re just a bunch of dirty, judgmental fuckers. And I like to be clean.

It’s funny, I had a similar experience. I was trying to date this lady I met. She seemed very spiritual, but underneath the fake appearance of kindness and acceptance was a man hating, conceited, cunt.

That is most Hippes

Also that tekno is a certified creep who stalks girls

Mennan Ocean Surf

Love this stuff. Clean and pleasant fragrance yet, not strong. So no fear of accidentally putting on too much. Price-wise, it’s average and not expensive option. You can get a 2-pack for about the same price as your average, designer old spice crap.

But on the subject of expensive brands like Old spice, i do really like Old Spice Fiji. Also as nice as it is, it is a good bit stronger than Ocean Surf. So there is fear of putting on too much and nose-raping others.

Yes, its another beach-style scent. Guess i’m a sucker for that stuff.

Fiji is great. It was my go to until Timber came out, and now I prefer that instead.

I tend to get the natural deodorants but they expensive as fuck. $15-20 bucks for just ONE small stick? More often than not I just grab some Degree.

Deodorant: Old spice Swagger
Soap: Dove purely pampering coconut milk with Jasmine petals (Body wash) works pretty good for me.

Anyone have success with hair thickening products? I’ve always had relatively fine hair up top, and I think I might even be thinning a bit. I’m 33, if I had my mom’s side genes for balding I’d be a chrome dome already, so I think I’ll probably end up like my dad or Grandpa on my dad’s side eventually (still having hair but just slightly thinned).

@NeoBlood The only scientifically verified way to maintain hair health and prevent balding that I’ve read is eating pumpkin seeds or using pumpkin seed oil. It contains dihydrotestosterone blocking amino acids, which is partly responsible for causing hair loss and thinning:

Bear in mind it isn’t solely dihydrotestosterone that’s the problem but the inherited sensitivity of the hair follicle to it. Hence why certain racial groups rarely or never have hair loss and don’t even gray much later on in life, like Native Americans. FYI, the genes responsible for male pattern baldness is predominately carried by the mother, so just because your father is bald doesn’t necessarily mean you will be.

This also means if your hair is just thinning using pumpkin seed oil might completely reverse the problem over time, since you’re not as sensitive as those who have early male pattern baldness- like Sir Patrick Stewart level.

As for hygiene, I used to use Old Spice gel deodorant for years until this year when I finally found a body spray that really works:

Silver ions murdalize the bacteria that produce the funk you smell when they feast on your sweat. Silver is also non-toxic. My only complaint is that it doesn’t last as long as a gel, but on the other hand it’s a lot quicker to put on and doesn’t just mask the odor but eliminates the source. I also use the silver ion body wash as well. Purge the stinky demons!

I always carry either an emergency alcohol wipe packet in my wallet or a card-sized hand sanitizer spray in my pocket.

No offense to White Shadow here as I see where he is coming from but I personally hate hand sanitizer.

It stems back to when I was fixing someone car at the side of the road, hands are covered with motor oil and someone offers hand sanitzer gel when I need a paper towel, napkin, old rag or something to that effect to wipe off the oil from my hands.

I am more of a fan of warm water and soap for handwashing. Alcohol Hand Sanitizer good for not spreading germs, not so much for actual hand cleaning.

We really have this thread

Apparently there people who don’t know how to Wash and are Dirty Fuckers .

Handwashing is always superior to using hand sanitizer since it washes dirt and pathogens away, but if you’re outside and a restroom is not readily available it’s a great compromise. Especially when I’m traveling and i want to get some finger food or a snack, having a alcohol wipe or spray on you can be a lifesaver.

sometimes dandruff is caused by eczema. my ex had bad dandruff due to her scalp having eczema. i think it was causing her hair to fall out a bit.
she said she need avena shampoo that has hydrocortisone in it. but she refrained from buying it cause she said it was too expensive.

what about colognes?
i have favorites.

Obsession by Calvin Klein
Fahrenheit by Christian Dior
Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche

i use to enjoy collecting cologne during high school. i tried out alot of different colognes back in those days.
nowadays most colognes have that cheap alcohol “clean” scent. which sucks.
did yall know that there was a change in the perfume community where they passed this rule that didnt allow them to use certain chemical compounds that were considered unsafe.
people say that change affected and changed many scents.
thats why when you buy Fahrenheit…you have to buy the black market gypsy version and not from the official Christian Dior makers cuz everyone says the scent changed. if you want the original scent you need the fake gypsy version to get the old classic scent.
the reformulations in the perfume industry in the 2000’s really killed alot of old clssic fragrances.

oh yeah, honorable mention to Oscar de la Renta’s cologne too. thats my 4th fav.

Colognes: I just use Aqua di Gio

Guys, I found a new quick way to make yourself feel and smell so fresh and so clean when you’re on a strict schedule. Just get some rubbing alcohol and rub it all over yourself with a towel to kill the germs. Then spray on some cologne, and you’re good. Be sure to get under the arms and up in yo booty (yeah, it stings a bit, especially if you’re a lil’ raw up there like me, but you get used to it after a time), because germs is how you start to stank. But once you kill all the germs, you’re good to go even if you start sweatin’ because you already killed all the germs.

Just wanna save you guys some time.
