Yosuke. He’s my favourite Persona character, so I couldn’t help myself. Definitely picking up Yukiko at same point too.
Yosuke. I am loving his mobility and his mix up possibility. Hating the Mitsuru match-up…I’ll have to treat like Ragna in BBCS:EX.
Looks like AIgis. Dat Robokenhayn.
Yosuke.
I mean, why not? It’s YURI FREAKING LOWENTHAL.
But really, I just LOVE speed characters and Yosuke fits that bill just fine.
Subbing Labrys, but she’s pretty… slow :c.
Good to see people picking difficult characters. I’ll admit Mitsuru is pretty easy-mode after using her for a while.
I’m using Shadow Labrys all the way…definitely taking a lot of work in the lab though, I can see why she’s considered the hardest character to use.
Nah, Elizabeth is MUCH harder to use, assuming you won’t use Auto-Combos.
Have fun fighting Akihiko’s and Mitsuru players though, Asterius will get hit a lot and Shadow Labrys.
The only thing I’m bothered about online is Naoto Aim Shoot Spammers.
It’s not too hard to get rid of, it gets kind of annoying after seeing it all day.
It’s like Online Ryu all over again, just easier to punish.
But meh, I’m a Mitsuru and Labrys player, so I can deal with it easily.
Kanji is really fun, and I sub Teddie. I’m trying to get used to Naoto because I think she’s badass.
Earlier in the thread, I stated I was still trying out characters, and that I liked Teddie.
Then I found the awesomeness that is Labrys.
I’m sticking with her.
Actually, I got kicked when I lost a match playing as her against an Akihiko.
I tend to stay away from range characters sense it always makes me feel like a cheap bastard, but Naoto was my favorite from Persona 4 so I kinda sucked it up.
I try to avoid using her gun too much, but I LOVE to dash toward an enemy to look reckless, then quarter circle back B (Out of ABCD?) to do the back flip and juke them. Always satisfying.
Akihiko and Yosuke as a sub.
Pretty much you will, if you use the gun way too often which gets kind of dumb after 20 seconds of the round has went and all you’re doing is spamming the ugn and doing back flip over and over, it gets annoying and her QCF Kick is OP, spamming it will just make your opponent get annoyed and will kick you.
This game in my opinion is not meant for zoning, more rush down due to Arc’s ability for mobility in this game in the first place.
Because, your opponent will just get tired hearing TAKING AIM GOTTA MOVE TAKING AIM GOTTA MOVE TAKING AIM GOTTA MOVE
for the whole round.
I play aggressive with Naoto for the Megido Corner Loop.
Zoning with her will just get annoying and unsatisfying, it’s up to the point if you play lame with Naoto that Akihiko players will be forced to spam C to get you to stop zoning.
And I have to pretty much have to use D to get you to stop zoning as Mitsuru.
How come every answer in this thread isn’t Chie?
Teddy, but it’s so frustrating sometimes.
Mitsuru. I have all the tools needed for success. Personality and gameplay fit me so well.
Actually, Mitsuru has very limited attack options compared to someone like Yu. It’s just the fact that her range and effectiveness of her jab pressure makes her really good.
all the tools for success does not mean a wide variety of tools.
fart fart.
Mitsuru, she was waifu material when i seen her
True, but versatility trumps that in the end. Look at Aegis.
Planning to main Akihiko, but decided to stick with Yu for a while till I familiarize myself with the game and footsies.
Must admit, this game is a complete change of pace when coming from SSF4.
