Or even fighting games in general. I know you can get results and brackets in multiple places, but when is somebody going to start a sports center style coverage show/broadcast or something that does in depth breakdowns of tournaments/matches going on in the FGC?
Pig of the hut has the right idea about it with his MK geared podcast, but Idk how much he is going to be covering the competitive scene and etc.
It’d be cool for the Monday after an event to roll around and then somebody breaking down the brackets, how blank beat blank and everything, including clips and highlights from the event. There are so many radio personality types in the FGC that could do it. James Chen, Mike Ross and Gootecks obviously, skisonic, etc.
I think one solid, reliable, entertaining podcast like that is what the FGC needs to take the next big step. If someone started a quality show like that and it was supported by SRK, Eventhubs, etc it would be a huge success, guaranteed.
