So Maximum Impact 3 maybe?

MIRA is good enough, honestly we don’t really need a new version, just players. It would be nice if it was on a current gen console though but that’s pretty much a pipe dream. We’ll see how KOF 13 does.

Naw, MIRA definitely needs a bit more refining, good netcode, a PS3/360 facelift, and less Falcoonfaggotry and then it would be really, really good and gain a real following.

Gawd…apologies ahead of time for making a list in regards to this game. But when the hell else will I get to talk about it these days? The last dude that played with me RL rage quit the game on me last week.

If it were to be reworked a bit, I would change the following:
-Eliminate the first attack = 1 meter filled aspect of the game
-Step Billy (Lilly too?) back away from being as brain dead as he is. You really need to understand the game to not get slaughtered by him (for those unfamiliar, imagine a SSF4 Ken, who’s Hurricane Kick could not be ducked, broke down guard, and allowed for mix-up into Ultra…that’s Billy)
-Reduce Wild Wolf’s damage by 10%
-Fix Richard Meyer’s random ass cross-up hitbox on his pinwheel kick
-Lower the number of stored meters to 3.

I don’t know of any other balance issues to fix. It’s hard to gauge what’s dumb with the players out there being so far away. Richard really does need that kick fixed. The Billy and Wolf issues were just things I noticed people regarding as “dumb” when playing. Not that they’re overpowered characters or anything, but they seemed to be in need of refinement.

Meter (management [ok, that and team order])wins this game. 1 full meter for first attack is a lame gimmick. So is a final round with 5 meters, but that may be less of an issue if the full meter bonus was removed.

I definitely agree with getting rid of the 1 meter for first attack.

Yeah, some characters were also pretty dumb, and although I think that while the damage is high, I recall that it was actually TONED DOWN overall compared to MI2, which is a scary thought.

I don’t really have a lot of character-specific complaints…although I do agree that Richard’s insane mix-ups and Terry’s/WildWolf’s damage do need to be toned down a little.

I think most character’s stupidity would be fixed automatically with a few tweaks, such fixing the way too loose sabaki system and the fast meter building.

I don’t necessarily agree with doing away with the 5-meter max for your last character as that has been in nearly all KOFs. In previous games, yeah, have 5 meters usually means you have access to a Touch-of-Death combo but you really had to WORK for it since you could usually only get it if used no meter at all for your first two characters.
The problem though is that this game throws meter your way like free candy.

im never gonna post again :frowning:

puts gun to head

Im not sure what you meant by “kof being the madden of fighting games” but it sounds retarded.

i wasn’t serious and meant nothing by it

Yeah…people like to overreact around here…

Again. Don’t take it personally.

[]KOF MI was SNKP’s biggest moneymaker since Metal Slug for the GBA.

]The dating game with Iroha for the DS would be an easy sale in Japan - she had more porn in her first year than most KOF characters had the last decade.

They sure as hell would’ve made more money (while spending a lot less) from those combined than KOF XII’s “four years losing money” mess. Hell, All the cancelled games were mid-way into production, some with release dates already. I bet they could’ve finished them all with a quarter of the money they put into XII.

EDIT: GBA, not DS.

kof maximum impact are suckssssssss.all character weak much
