Speaking of which, where did CPU go after EVO? Haven’t seen him before or after, but maybe it’s just because I don’t keep up with the Brawl scene.

He probably quit after that, I would have.

In all fairness, Smash at EVO was with items and that’s now how any other tournament has it. But everyone knows the golden rule of tournaments is that the TO chooses the rules. So Ken is better at the universally accepted competitive style but it’s the “all items” approach that has him beat.

No I’m pretty sure he lost because CPU was the better player, items had nothing to do with it.

Do you know why a Ford is a better quality product than a Cadillac? Because people can easily get benefit from the product. Fords are cheap cars and are able to get people around, which is why you buy a car. A Cadillac does the same thing at a high price (and it’s a lot harder to maintain). It doesn’t make the goal of driving around easy. It will be a nice drive, but most people can afford to do it. This is why Ford is of higher quality. Your job is getting from point A to B. Ford does that better than a Cadillac (because you can easily pay for it).

Rich people like Cadillacs because there is no barrier in price, but they are not representative of the normal population. So why should less than 1% of the population define quality for the other 99%.

ford is a piece of shit company. People only buy it because its a piece of shit that is cheap. Same reason people buy hyundai and kia. Go to a mechanic shop and all you see is piece of shit ford and of brands. Go to a junnkyard, all you see is piece of shit ford. Fords that aren’t even wrecked, you see complete fords at the junkyard with no missing parts because everybody knows Ford is a piece of shit. ford is shit, and people buy shit because its cheap.

Chinese products are not good. Mercedes are piece of shit cars, and ford is the biggest piece of shit known to mankind.

Brawl cannot be competitive because of grab infinites, random trips, the community putting restrictions on shit like stages, and MOST IMPORTATNLY NINTENDO.

So yeah, uh, I don’t know about you guys, but Brawl is pretty silly IMO.

I love Melee to death though, and I’m very excited for Project M. It seems like the only thing that Brawl is good for is mods. It doesn’t really matter to me that a hack won’t get big, all I care about is having fun with a game that has substance.

I mean I don’t think it could be any worse than what the community is doing to Brawl right now. In fact, from what I can see, it’s turning out to be a better Melee what with all of the creative ideas going into the character design.

So liking Brawl and defending the game at all will just get you attacked for it. This is why I just don’t care for the community at all…I just go to tournaments both melee and brawl because I actually LOVE the smash series and do not care unlike these self proclaimed “hardcore players” who think they know what they are talking about when it comes to any smash game, especially melee. You know what, I don’t care what anyone says about you guys. You deserve the hate you get really. I tried defending this game, but now I just don’t care. You’re all so inconsistent amongst the community because nows it’s not even a smash community. It’s either melee or brawl community.

I have been agreeing with Smashchu comments, but was not surprised that he will receive critics for having a point. This game was never meant to be competitive so they have no “competitive competition”. This game’s demographs is directed to smash/nintendo fans. sigh But of course, i’m sure your attention span has closed much earlier into my post due to your inability to accept something being said and are already mustering a reply.
