Just to let you guys know, I tried my copy of the game on a japanese ps2 and it worked fine. Maybe it’s a problem with swap-magic?

I’ve never used a swap-magic disc set…I’ve always preferred chips - so I have no idea what the swap does and how it works.
Sounds feasible tho.
Also, update on the Collection info at Capcom Japan’s site. Apparently, there is a VH2 and VS2 version of Donovan. I’m clueless to the difference as I haven’t noticed any. Anyone have any clues?

Sorry to bother, but how many of the VS dipswitches should be turned on to make the game arcade perfect? I know the ones about the frame unblockables etc should be, but what about everything else.

I was just playing Darkstalkers 3 on PS yesterday and I noticed it had the little openings for VH2 and VS2, so I am wondering which version of VS is Darkstalker’s 3?
Darkstalkers 3 for PSX is a compilation of sorts. Check out gamefaqs but, I think there is a way to select the different verswions of the game.
I finally got my Purple Vampire Pad (sounds like some type of super absorbant maxi huh?) today! It’s pretty cool, you get a pack of cards of all the Darkstalkers characters with it and a crappy little sticker too! Did anyone esle pick up the pad, or all you all to stuck on the stick?
I just got DarkStalkers 3 the other day. This is my first time playing this game. Is there any difference between DS3 and the Vampire Savior games? Or is Vampire Savior just the Japanese equivalent for Darkstalkers?
“Darkstalkers 3” is just the title given to the PS1 release. It’s basically Vampire Savior (the third game in the series), with a few Vampire Savior 2 elements (Donovan, Phobos, Pyron, etc.) and extras thrown in.
