depends on the situation. i remember my Driver’s Ed teacher telling us if you start hydroplaning **carefully **pump your brakes many times until the weight of the car pushes the water out from under your wheels. don’t do one hard brake stomp because you’ll just keep sliding and have no control of your car.

You hate me because I pointed out that you truly are a person that is prejudice and society perceives prejudice as a negative trait but in reality, you probably aren’t prejudice-- you are AWARE of prejudice. That is why you probably feel that society is shunning you in particular. You feel that they are not the same subject and they really AREN’T. Please help me understand thuggin’-- but do not be afraid if I actually understand it because believe it or not, I am actually pretty well informed with the negative perception of rap/hip-hop culture.
It can happen really easily. My car had good tires, but it handled like a big giant boat (ass-suck 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS, so you don’t even get the extra weight of the V6 to weigh the front end down) I took the exact same on-ramp that I take every day coming from work, but I never realized that there is a little lip to go over that can create the perfect storm for an accident in bad weather. I was actually able to downshift and regain a bit of control to aim for the rail instead of another lane of traffic, but I still screwed up the driver side body. No frame damage and the bags didn’t deploy. And I didn’t cry. LOL but I wanted to after looking at what I just did to my car and my deductible.
Oh, about a year later my friend got an Evo and the same thing happened to him at the exact same spot. Anyone who knows about cars will tell you that Evo drivers can’t be trusted, though (he’s wrecked it three times now!!! But I believe the ramp one wasn’t his fault because it happened to me too). :clown:
As soon as that happened, I took the advice from the forums I go to and got better shocks and bigger tires (17x8s instead of 16x7.5) and that made a much better difference. I could no longer make the rear wheels slide out, which used to happen even in dry weather! The car feels great to drive, but the most important part is that it’s much safer. I guess my point is to upgrade your car if you have the money and it’s doing stuff that can be unsafe. :tup:
yeah, any car can hydroplane, they just have to be going at least 50 mph (i’m fairly certain).

The fact that you are still trying to attack me is certainly true that I am striking a bad chord with you and I do apologize for coming off so hostile. Keep in mind, although I did say what you know are lies I mean to say that what I too, what I perceived as life, is a lie as well. I am not trying to justify intelligence. What makes you think I am intelligent? I am just someone who wants to know more about the world that what seems to be at the surface. You do not seem to know what I am talking about-- I say the entire human species needs to realize that it is not an animal because that simply isn’t the case. We can reason. We can love. We can feel true compassion. Compassion, as defined means a feeling of deep sympathy and sorrow for another who is stricken by misfortune, accompanied by a strong desire to alleviate the suffering. What I’m trying to convey to you is that I don’t have to grow up poor to know the pain that the poor go through-- because compassion-- true compassion-- that is what it is about. That is what being human is. I can admit to you that thinking like this is frightening and the fact that people need to stand up for what they believe in and get others to see the big picture is much more satisfying than living in fear.
