Not really. Aside from 1-2 matches in the finals, it turned out pretty good. There should be vids of the finals floating around somewhere.
Thanks to the crazy combos the Top 8 pulled off, the spectators were satisfied. There was a surprising variety of character choice. I think some even picked up a few Hori sticks just to try out the game too.
It was pretty positive except for the matches with PTX, unfortunately.
Namely because it looked like somebody playing Megaman X3 instead of somebody playing a fighting game.
Ah I see. Well, that was expected XD
Still, I hope that PTX match didn’t turn off people.
