So, how good are the players compared to USA and JPN?

I’ve seen the American player vids, (Who are mostly MvC2 players, figures) but not really the Japanese TvC vids.

I mean, there are spectulations that TvC is one game that even Americans can beat Japan when you guys represent USA in like SBO touraments. (I mean, I cheer for USA too, but even the best 3S USA players usually get’s KOed like in the first round, no offense.) But can you top players live upto that hype?

Honestly, we have no definitive way to say who is better. But going on the fact that Japan has this game, and US doesnt (by that I mean, this game isnt normal in america through normal means, console-wise.) JP would have an easier time claiming that right, simply because they can spit out more good players at a faster rate. If the game was avaliable in both US and JP then it’d be easier to find out.

And you really cant compare based totally on vids because they have more people so they find out more stuff faster than we can shake a stick it. We’re out numbered. SO the best way to know for sure is just to play JP in SBO and see how we do.

i agree. having seen only a handful of vids from japan(mostly combo vids), it seems japan has grasped this game and found some of its brokeness. but i think team america will hold its own if it goes to SBO. probably go to the finals.
