Decapre is actually not that bad. she’s just receiving the same hate evil ryu and oni got for now. When she’s released no one will have a problem with her. (I was just a little salty because I fell for the r.mika troll, but I gotta hold dat)
Yes but everyone who hates her does not care about that.
You’ll keep saying the same thing its a business decision. Wouldnt a business decision testing to see if people would actually like the character. When she was shown off in trailers people actually hated the character. It even seemed like capcom would make people like this character, but it completely back-fired in their face.
Like I said before even though no one even reads my post, 2 dolls were added in 1 sf game and didn’t get hate. And this 1 doll becomes the most hated character. And it has nothing to do with her being broken what so ever.
You cant get through your head cause you disagree with anyone what so ever that doesnt like your character, you like dont like anyone proving you wrong
You certainly pulled a lot of extra from my two sentences. I stated my own answer to your question that represents my own opinion. It’s not an argument and there isn’t anything that I can be proven wrong on because it’s an opinion and I’ve never stated any facts.
You asked a question… didn’t like the answer so you shot off. Unless of course you quoted me, but you were talking to someone else.
I find it funny how everyone misses how this is the greatest fanservice for all you kids that still play Street Fighter 4. You all hate Cammy and Capcom gave you a character that hates Cammy as much as you do. Plus she’s one of those evil characters that non serious players love so much. Look at the Newbie Dojo and look at how many people pick Akuma, Evil Ryu and Oni as the characters they want to play. Look at how many of the corniest and scrubbiest players with “xxDemon Spirtxx”-esque user names gravitate towards those styles of characters. Seems to me that Capcom knows their core demographic spot on.
You know what really gets to me…Cammy herself is one of the most beloved characters in the franchise, her getting a clone and receiving this amount of hate is truly mindbogglingly weird to me. Had they made Shadow Lady into a real Character…would it be the same reaction? For some reason or another…I don’t think so.
Honestly not interested in getting involved in this pissing and moaning thread beyond this. Go look at any eventscrubs article comments regarding ESGN fightnight bitching about “of course, they got poor ratings, who wants to watch 2 Cammys play eachother?!” This is the majority of the street fighter buying public, stream and comment monsters. People that buy the game but don’t really play it.
They REALLY need to get back the dude who made the 2nd Impact and 3rd Strike music, seriously, if theres one thing people should agree on is that SF4 music is crap.
Decapre isnt horrible, but them keeping her to themselves for over half a year was what was horribly stupid.
While I do appreciate the tunes in SF3, I don’t think that SF4 had crap OST. Just not as memorable as others, though till this day I await the return of “Indestructible”.
I can’t say much to the contrary of Capcom keeping sealed lips on Decapre up until now was the best thing, but their could have been alot of factors to it…one of the things that jumped out at me the most was how much she changed from 1 build to the next, the other thing was that she isn’t going to be playable in the next Japanese Loketest either. It’s kinda hard to say what’s really going on behind the scenes.
And you people saying “its ok because ken and ryu are the same”, “what about ken and ryu” are idiots. They did that shit 25 years ago because of memory constraints. Doing it today is just lazy. The character is lazy. Cammys look, stance, normals, and throws in a “new” character are lazy.
Who cares if it makes sense with the story? That three minutes of cutscenes youll watch once is worth enough to stifle the creativity of her move set and look?
