On another note, I’m pretty amazed at the quality of youtube’s new HD videos. The specs are 1280 x 720, 30fps, 2000kbps video AVC, 232kbps audio AAC, 44.1khz stereo. And I love how you can download the videos in mp4 format straight from youtube with a little bit of code =P
any other options for download into mp4 format? The quality from that site is meh.

If you’re watching high quality, change the number in the bolded part to 18
If you’re watching normal quality, get rid of the bolded part
Your browser should ask you to download video.mp4 (HD/high quality) or get_video(normal: this is a flv file).
To make things easier, make a bookmark for each mode.
