They’re all available on PS2, Japan only. KOF’98 Ultimate match will probably follow the same deal (remember, Sony of America hates 2D).
Garou Densetsu Battle Archives 1 has FF1, FF2, FF3 & FFS but it doesn’t have any of the Real Bout FF games (which will probably be all included in Garou Densetsu Battle Archives 2). There is a special edition of MOTW w/ a NeoGeo stick but there is also a regular edition w/ just the game (the one I got since I already have arcade sticks and I’m not too crazy about getting a NeoGeo stick). SS Tenka was released for PS2 in Japan this past January.
Indeed. Modchip, Swap Magic, Japanese PS2, whatever. Having a PS2 capable of playing imports is a must these days considering the number of good fighters that are only available in Japan.

I definitely think they should include the arcade version, but including an optional version (or even better, dipswitch settings like Capcom did for DS Collection & SFAA) would be good too. If I have to choose, I’ll always play the arcade version, but there’s always somebody who will complain about it and say that they’d rather play a fixed/debugged/arrange/whatever version instead. Just my 2 cents.
