Same as Fatal Fury Special, in other words, anything over 100ms is difficult to play on.
You do get to see the actual ping though, which is a small plus.
no Special, no Sale for me.
hey guys, can i get some kofxi help?
Does anyone know what Kasumi’s Bnb is?
I’m not sure I want to bring up the thread again, it’s probably quite dead at this point.
Here ya go, all the BnBs you’ll probably ever need for KOF XI:
oh wow you’re playing xi again, chibi?
next time you’re in philly or next time im in nj lets get some matches in.
also that thread is pretty old and has a lot of suboptimal/obsolete combos. perhaps we could update the srk wiki with some recent info?
It’s actually way better than FFS, I actually faced a player with a 250 ping and there still wasn’t any lag.
I don’t know why players are whining that SS2 is laggy, out of the 100+ matches I played, I only experienced 2 matches that were laggy, unlike FFS laggyness.
You are going to see a lot of Hao, Genjuro, Hanzo, Ukyo players online. But my Earthquake destroys them :bgrin:
This game ranks up with KOF2003 and NeoWave in great online play.
Damn, I hope SNK doesn’t screw up KOF98UM, but by how they did SS2, I’m not worried too much
I recently watched hayate do an infinite on kofXI from youtube. Can somebody tell how they are getting his down+B move to hit just once?
It’s his air down+A, and I think it requires exact spacing and quick cancelling.
Yeah, I’m getting a friend back into the scene and he was interested in the game.
I’m trying to work with B. Jenet / Elizabeth / Kasumi / Whip / Kula / Malin as characters to play with on a team.
I will be bringing my supergun and MVS to Final Round for some of the SNK games and while I have a fine converter for PS->NeoGeo I was wondering if anyone that is going may have an actual Neo stick. Like the old AES ones that came with the system. In all my time I have never gotten to play a home system so I have never experienced those sticks and would love to play some '98 or SamSho II with that hardware.
Plus would anyone going like to play some non-fighting Neo games? Like Windjammers, Ghost Pilots, 3 Count Bout, Sengoku, etc.? I am debating if I should bring those carts along with the others.
So does anybody play WakuWaku7 on 2DF? I tried challenging some people over the past week or so but I’ve only gotten declines/lack of people in the rooms
I’ve been grinding out Slash combos, man his shit is something else
If I ever decide to start on something like 2df I’ll play you at WW7, but all you have to do is start playing Tesse or Politank Z and it’s game over.
Crosspost kind of, KOFXII and Samurai Shodown: Edge of Destiny are hitting consoles next year. Platforms are 360 and PS3. KOFXII drops in May while EoD hits in June.
Thats awesome news.
Along with 98UM going to 360 things are looking good for SNK this next year coming up.
Indeed they are, Sam Sho 2 on XBL right now. Even though I have it for 2DF and GGPO I dled it anyway. Get dem points
So where can I get some good KOF 95 advice for infs and stuff?
Hey, I have recently met a couple of guys close to where I live who are pretty big into Capcom fighting games yet don’t have much experience with SNK stuff. We’ve gotten together a couple times to play some games and I was thinking about trying to get them into SNK games (which in turn would finally get me some comp. in them which would get me back into the SNK side of things). I was wondering what I should try and introduce them with. For the new side of things I do have KoF XI and NGBC, and plan on getting 98 UM when it comes out, yet I’m not really sure how the overall scene is for XI and NGBC (at least one of these guys says he wants to go to tournaments).
Anyway, I’ll greatly appreciate any suggestions you all have for which games to try out. If you have any resources for the games you may suggest (like the XI BnB combo list that was linked on the last page) those will help out a lot as well (as I’ve been out of the loop with SNK when it comes to actually playing against humans). Thanks guys.
so what the hell is ADK Heroes guys/
Well KoF98UM is a good game of choice if they like oldskool fighters.
Real Bout Fatal Fury series also tends to at least appear not so SNK-ish to people.
And of course Garou.
