I’m making this thread for Nate as his internet is not working currently. Anyway, he told me that even though he’s running ST for Season Three, that he wants to run an SNK game during Season Three. He said he’s even willing to rotate games every other event, although personally I think it’d be best to concentrate on just one game. It would allow people to better learn the game but whatever. These are the games I thought of off the top of my head. Feel free to make suggestions and whatever.

Isn’t FFSpecial broken as fuck? Seemed that way to me. I’m pretty sure I pulled off a 100% redizzy combo on accident with that Dragon fool last time I played.
I haven’t played World Heroes Perfect yet but that seems like a good contender.
i was thinkin Neo Geo Battle Coliseum, Fatal Fury Special, Samurai Shodown 5 Special via emulator which i have, World Heroes Perfect, King Of Fighters 98 via emulator until KOF 98UM releases, and KOFxi. Which the exception of the emu’ed games and WHP, the other games are available domestically and each game in the series would cost you $15 or less to get. Im even willing to haul my 27 inch TV and keep it at Zach’s, provided i get permission, for SNK tourney use.
modded XBOX would be good for WHP and KOF 98 NeoRage emu on PC would be best though imo. Converters i can get, i was planning on going to Radio Shack anyway this evening and i may just do so in 5 minutes. I have the SamSho5Special emu & rom and i wanted to distribute it to folks at Random Select this past Saturday but i had poorly planned my time before leaving the house, so I will make it up to folks this coming weekend at Zach’s

I still haven’t even played NGBC (but really want to, looks way doper than XI)… I have an xbox converter to bring for the cause. Magicbox is easy to get your hands on too, when compared to DC converters.

Really? I used to go into every radio shack I ever saw in hopes of finding them, and I’ve seen one. Ever. (Granted, I haven’t looked since the last time I bought one… but that one’s gone now.) So um… let me know if you find one with several.
Also, I came in to also post what about Garou? That would get my vote.
While I love SNK as much as your typical Mexican let us be realistic with our game choices. I suggest we stick to shit people can actually get a hold of. I suggest the likes of NGBC or KOFXI, seeing as how anyone can get these games for the US ps2s for $15. No emulators, no exotic xbox adapters, no bullshit.
My vote is for KOFXI, SNK is kind enough to gives us NEW games practically every year and we are all still stuck playing 98 and 2002? That is no good. I love those games, but lets give the new stuff a chance.
