Now granted the case sounded legit, but 7.5 Million? I hardly think if the inverse had happened, where a female sergeant was sexually harassing her male subordinate that the courts would’ve awarded such a sum for a similar scenario.
This means all these times my female coworkers/ managers throughout the years have given me unsolicited hugs, copping random feels, and made various sexist comments, I might’ve been sitting on a potential moneymaking lawsuit… oh wait!

That’s an interesting story with the officer and the “wanted” poster… it wasn’t just the poster that was the problem. This is one case where the supervisor was indeed being an idiot. If you care about the job in question…this is precisely why it’s wise to just NOT talk to or engage any kind of discussion with women in the work-place…especially if you have a tendency to be a bit wild and R-rated with your commentary on things. The interaction should be kept to a minimum, or it’s just a lawsuit and all kinds of trouble just waiting to happen, basically.
The thing that upsets me the most is that the people whom supposedly are so concerned with gender equality remain completely silent on issues like this. The articles on female predators from sites like Jezebel or salon amount to nothing more then mental gymnastics in the way they justify the linient sentencing and in 1 article the writer even complains that female rapist get too much media attention considering male teachers commit more sexual abuse (keep in mind she based this off a study she didn’t provide a link for).
