I played with @Sonichuman AND @Cyntalan yesterday for hours with no issues. I’ve played with @“po pimpus” too without issue. I don’t think we’ve played on my own connection, yet. Sometimes her internet decides not to suck but most of the time it’s just unplayable if you’re wireless.
if you want we can settle it right now. I was planning on going to my FGC meetup but most people aren’t gonna be there because they are training tourney in our state.
As we are nearing the end of our first chunk of the Smash league, it’s time to reflect on how this current approach has affected you. Did you like it? Do you want something removed, changed, different? Please bring all these opinions to me
…that I may throw them all in the trash, since next session will be standard tournament rulings

Now now, settle down, there is a reason for this
Part of my goal with these tournaments is to allow for tweaking and creative tournament designs, of which I greatly appreciate your feedback.
HOWEVER! In order to truly appreciate and evaluate the off kilter rules, each ‘different’ tournament period will be followed by a control ‘normal’ tournament period for comparison, creating a crazy/normal/crazy/normal over many weeks. On top of that, it grants a leeway period to allow for greater pondering of the next ruleset over a greater time period and allows for those who missed the entry date or had to sit out the tournament a chance to re-enter.
With that said, lemme hear what you think of the setup so far
I would really like us to work on a stage list, and cut off stages that are not cut to play in a 1v 1 sceneraio. I honestly dont like how we can go to any stage for a counter pick.Example- sonichuman taking the fight to that awful Sonic stage, and Cynt taking me to wrecking crew Lol. Im not saying for us to use a list that every tourny uses, but something we all could work on as a group.
In all seriousness though even me picking any stage means that you still have the advantage since you beat me in the first place for me to pick. If I happen to beat you on the shittiest stage in the game like Pac Land (god forbid I’ll be wacked out of my mind if I were to do something like that…if I’m ever picking that stage in the league immediately check on me to make sure I’m ok) then you can immediately pick the stage that you’re strongest on for the final stage.
LOL I like the stage, and it’s music, I just really hate it, when Im playing Jr. It’s hard to traverse it, especially against those who are fast. I’m not trying to take away that I lost, im just using examples of how some stages should be talked about for character, and playing purposes. Which is why I suggested for us to compile a list, out of the obvious smashville, smashville, smashville. LOL
