Can we get a random color choice? If I’m going to be playing a lot of games against this one guy, sometimes I get tired of seeing the same color over and over, just like I get tired of the same stage over and over. Can we get a random color option (mapped to start) that will change our color every round just like it does for stages?
I would figure random colors would be confusing. You’ll be one color in one match, and you might be your opponent’s color in another.
Only if they pick random too. This obviously wouldn’t be something used in tournaments or on streams or anything, I’d just like to use this at home.
Random suggestion; exclusive pallettes as tournament prizes.

I like this idea, not for only tournaments though cause that would only be in certain areas, i’d say for someone with a high rank in ranked mode like top 10 get a extra palette.
A new online ranking system would be nice. Seems kinda silly that playing the same person and only winning can lower your rank, especially in a game where there’s usually only a few people to play online at a time.
And by this I mean stuff like I play no one but the same person like 15 times in a row in a night, win every time, and lose 80 ranks. That just doesn’t make sense.
Hello I’m new here… love this game… I was wondering if it would be possible in training mode to be able to switch assist moves on the pause menu. Something like umvc3? it seems to me like it would be difficult because the player can create custom assist but might be doable.
More Palettes! free to download, but need to be unlocked, some take a lot of effort to get, some are easy to get, more secret code palettes also.
I Double needs another projectile, but not one thats crazy good or would make her OP or anything.
I suggest Fortunes head throws, instead of the head stay there it walks away on its ears like in the Super.
the head roll does go full screen but cause a very short stagger, the air spike is just like Fortunes.
Completely serious request: scrap the game as it is, completely remake it as a 3D arena fighter with the girls as giantesses destroying cities as they fight.

A bit late on this since it’s been a week since ECT but I’ve been busy like hell. I managed to test this in the new version to see if skipping the cutscene would make valentine’s level 3 end before her lp poison(purple). The poison will run it’s full course(and then some) even if you skip the cutscene.
EDIT: By the way do we have a source/reason why players can’t switch team order like in the vs. series? Interested in mike’s logic with this since he tends to have reasons that make a good amount of sense and have some good insight on these.

A nice example of this happened tonight. I started the night ranked in the high 30s, didn’t lose a single game, and I’m logging off XBL ranked 173rd. Is this getting changed?
I get that it’s using the TrueSkill system or whatever but regardless this is kind of a joke. It’s stuff like this that makes the game seem like it wasn’t ready for a release.
Is it possibly because other people are getting better scores than you? Rank isn’t just a measure of your own abilities while everyone else stays static, other people move up and down rank as well.
Considering that I’m getting passed by people that I know for a fact haven’t played since day 1 of release, no, this is not the case.
Ranked works like this:
The first win or lost within the hour will place you at your true rank. Afterwards it’ll appear as if your descending even though you’re going up in ranked. Avoid ranked for an hour and the next time you play win or lose you’ll be at your real rank.
Alright, makes sense. I won’t delete what I said since this seems like something more people should know. Still seems like a shoddy way to handle rankings, though.
