It seemed that upstate SG had a pretty good SC scene, considering they have weeklys and there are always people there for SG.
Well, I’m considering putting $50 into the pot. Would that persuade others to practice and join you think?

The way the weeklys looked, I think the pot is decent sized for SG.

Although it depends on me winning it, but either way if I don’t the pot will be larger because of the money I put in and because of the extra contenders. Thus whoever places will be happier.

Well, I remember in the last Anderson tournament I went to, I went to participate in UMvC3 and MK9. Obviously I was shit at UMvC3 but whe it came to MK9 I knew I knew my stuff. I was ready to take that shit… except only four people showed up. Including me.
I remember someone back then telling me that if I wanted to get more numbers, maybe I needed to up the stakes and offer up a side pot.
True, if they are doing it only for the money they’re unlikely to keep playing, but it’s a great game, and if I can help get exposure for it I will.
